I've had tried a few shavers, including the Inutuition and some ov Venus' other products...I'm sure there was one that I really hated, I think it was the Breeze or something.The original venuz razor shaves smoothly with three perfect blades-I find four blades cut way too close and cause a lot of irritation and in-grown hairs. It's also a nice blue color, and comes with a case to hold additional razor "heads" so when you need to replace the head mid-shower, you don't have to get out and go to the bathroom cabinet or something. Though the price is more expensive than rival razor blades the Venus blades are worth the expense.  Being an everyday shaver with dry skin I want the safest, best shave I can get.  Very rarely are there any mishaps, especially compared with the cheaper blades on the market.  The only complaint I can make is once in a great while I get an underarm irritation, and that's probably due to using soap rather than a regular shaving product.  I would highly recommend you try this blade once, you won't want to switch back to your old brand. — … read full review »

I really like this shaver a lot. The only problem I have is that within a month it is dull. This is really a disadvantage because I do not want to be buying new shavers or blades every month. The blades alone for this cost a lot. I also get bumps under my arms and sometimes on my legs a few days after I am done shaving. This really bothers me to why I am getting this. The Venus razor is buy far the best one that I have ever purchased. I can shave with soap and water using this razor!! No more buying those over-scented shave gels. I have very senstitive skin, so being able to use my odor and perfume free soap along with a great razor is a huge thing!! The disposible venus razor with triple blades works just as well or better than my standard cartridge three blade. It gave me a clean shave even when I'd gone a few days without time to shave my legs. Unlike some other designs this razor has not been overly prone to getting clogged and is still sharp after several days of use. This razor is awesome. I received one in my stocking at Christmas cause my daughter was so in love with hers. I thought great a new razor I needed one any way. WOW was I surprised.
