Gillette Fusion Razor Reviews

Okay, I'm coming clean on these pages.  About a year and a half ago when Gillette introduced this razor I wrote a scathing review of it elsewhere.  Truth be told I was predisposed to savage this product. — I mean five blades? I must confess; I used my husband's razor in the shower. He uses the Fusion (not the power one) and loves it. I have gone through every women's razor out there with none that make me happy. I HATE the strips of gunk (moisturizer) that they all feel we need. I want a multiple blade razor that lasts. That is why I use this one. I ended up buying my own. It shaves super close every time; each blade lasts at least 3 months; I never nick myself, and one swipe is all it takes! My husband and I both use this razor! It's great for women with sensitive skin because the five razors cause much less razor-burn than many leading female razors. Works excellent in armpits and ankle area because of the single blade on the backside that is gentle in hard to reach areas. Both my husband and I suffer from sensitive skin, and this razor gives us a clean shave without having to change the razor weekly! This razor stays sharp for a month or longer of daily shaving! Even though this is razor is intended for men, I started using it on my legs after receiving a free sample in the mail.  I have never gone back to a "women's" razor.  I have very sensitive skin and managed to cut myself with every other razor I ever used.  I've been using the Gillette Fusion for about two years now and have not nicked myself even once.  With other razors, there would almost always be stubble left on my legs, and if I wanted truly smooth legs, I would have to shave every day.  The Fusion razor takes all the hair off, and my legs are reasonably stubble… read full review »

When you want the closest of shaves, then this is your razor to get the job done right the first time. Over the years, Gillette has been able to extend the life of one razor, which now makes economic sense to the end user. My blades will last a full month before I have to use another blade. I used to use the 1st generation multi-blade razors but, they tended to be costly and lasting a week at the most. I went and bought a Norelco razor for the convenience and semi-close shave I would get for the time spent. The Gillette fusion power razor is the best razor I have ever used.  All of my friends know that I am obsessive compulsive when it comes to shaving my legs.  Because of my OCD I am always on the lookout for new razors.  I bought the fusion power as soon as it came out and I have told everyone about how great it is.  With other razors I needed to shave the very next day, but with the fusion I can go several days without so much as a little stubble.  I can even shave without any shave gel and the Gillette never gives me razor burn. The Gillette Fusion razor is by far the best razor I've ever used, and I've tried them all! I have a very thick, fast-growing beard, and normally would wear out blades in just a few shaves (even the Mach3 predecessor to the Fusion)! The Fusion shaves close and comfortable, and the blades last FOREVER! I can go 3-4 weeks with a single blade (granted, I have a goatee now, so less shaving area then in the past, but still!). This is a great razor and I would recommend it to anyone it is worth the price and it keeps doing the job day after day I have been using this product for over two years now and i will continue to to use it as long as they make it.  It shave close and it is comfortable and it dose not irritate my skin I stopped shaving for years becuse  razors gave me a rash, I started shaving again with a electric razor but it did not due a good enough job then i tried this one and with out a doubt it is the best i have ever used. Got this for the husband.He just loves it . Gives him a smooth save for that very very harsh beard he has. First time in a long time that he actually went 3 days without shaving and I could still snuggle up to his face. I think this is a must have for men with a ruff beard. Also purchased the shaving gel with it . Works great. I am however worried a little bit about how many batteries he will go through in the long run with this one. The Gillette Fusion razor enabled me to finally abandon my search for an electric razor with a close shave.  Never able to find such a thing, I stuck with the electric razors for the convenience, and lack of nicks and cuts on my face.  But with the Fusion, I can get an extremely close, comfortable shave very quickly - much more quickly than with an electric.  I rarely experience nicks and cuts with the Fusion.  The best part is that I can finally get a close shave around and under my chin and on my neck.  With an electric, I couldn't get a decent shave there, but… read full review »

these are the razor cartridge that come for the Gillette Fusion razor. It comes in two modes Manual and Power. The unique feature of this blade is that it has 5 blades in the front, and one blade on the back for trimming. The 5 blades give a great great shave...and if you have the Power version it is the smoothest shave ever. The gillette fusion power razor by far has been my favorite razor i have ever owned. It has caused me to shove my electric razor way back in the drawer and i haven't had any urges to go back ever since. I use all of the gillette fusion products with it (shaving cream, aftershave lotion) and it seems to keep my skin looking good and feeling good. I like the aftershave lotion alot. The only downfall is that the razors are quite expensive but I did have some coupons when i first purchased the razor from CVS so I can't complain too much.
