I loved using the Gerber apple cinnamon fruit puffs! The different variety of puffs were my favorite snacks for my children when they were babies. This one was gobbled up fast. They seemed to really like the flavor. I felt like this was a healthier snack than others out there. It is made with whole grains and natural ingredients. I like the container that they are in. It is easy to pour and fits well into a diaper bag. These are great for little ones because they start melting as soon as they are put into their mouths. These were never a choking issue for me. They went down smoothly and babies could pick them up easily. My kids loved these when they were little. I loved that I could bring them everywhere with me. They were great for passing time at a restaurant, at friend's houses, on a trip and many other places. The only thing that I wish is that these came in an organic option. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients were pretty good in this. I could understand most of them. I do wish that they would be organic. Safety These are very safe for babies. They melt and soften fast so that they won't choke on them easily. They are also a nice small size.

I bought these puffs on sale just to give them a try because I didn't like the larger "finger foods" for beginners that my friends were using. At first my daughter didn't know that they were food because it was her first finger food not on a spoon, but once she figured it out she goes to TOWN on these things. Now I keep a pack in the car with her "eating out" bag because it keeps her busy when we go out to eat, so she feels like she is part of the meal sitting at the table in her highchair eating, and I don't have to keep getting up and picking up the toys she has thrown everywhere out of boredom. It's really funny, but if she gets upset or whines when I take a toy away, I can also scoop her up and give her a puff and she quiets down and eats the puff and is happy again. She knows exactly what they are when I get them out and she thinks they are treats! It's been very helpful! But I do usually break them up into smaller pieces because even though they are already small, they are still a bit large for my daughter who is not used to chewing and is developing her gag reflex still.

My little fella is growing...and growing along with him is his appetite. A bottle of formula just isn't going to cut it anymore. Sure jars of baby food are nice, but he needs a little something in between bottles and jars to keep his tummy satisfied. Perusing the baby food aisle at the supermarket, the jars of Gerber Graduates Puffs caught my eye. At first glance, I thought hmmm...isn't this going to be tough for my little guy to swallow? Fear not...they dissolve on baby's tongue. Still a little weary that he might choke, I broke one of the pieces in half and started him that way. Then I figured..hmmm..let me see how these dissolve and actually tried one (or two or three..maybe four). Yum..these actually taste quite nice! Anyway..I put some on his high chair feeding tray in front of him and naturally he gave me a "what am I supposed to do with this" sort of look so I started by feeding him and eventually putting one in his hand as I guided it towards his mouth. He now picks these up and feeds himself with no problem. At times he will eat two of these at a time and they have no problem dissolving at all, so this is completely fine as a finger food for those of you giving your baby stage 2 or 3 jarred foods. (My son will be 10 months as of this write up).

I am a buying baby food because it very convenient. Gerber is one of the leaders in the production of baby foods. I trust the company. The company works with small farmers. When my baby started finger foods, I bought Geber Baby Finger Foods Fruit Puffs. I got several varieties including Apple Cinnamon. The puffs made with real fruits with no artificial flavors. They are shaped as little stars and fit perfectly in little hands. They have added calcium, iron, vitamin E, and zinc for healthy immune system and healthy cognitive development. The texture is very soft and easy for infants to eat. They are designed to melt in mouth. They taste great and very healthy. However, they do get mushy if you pick them up with wet hands. If you baby have wet fingers when she is eating puffs, they would stick to her fingers. I would highly recommend Geber Baby Finger Foods Fruit Puffs as a beginning finger food for babies.
