I bought this camera at our local drug store the day my son graduated high school. I wanted another digital camera because he destroyed our first one (which was also a FinePix.) They had it on sale for like $100. I was happy, because when we bought our first FP, it was over $200 4 years ago. Our whole family uses it (including my 13 yr old daughter.)

The camera is easy to use and lightweight. I enjoy taking pictures and with the almost-limitless 1GB SD chip I don't have to keep uploading the pictures. (BTW the chip was about $20 and well worth the cost.) The camera came with a 64Mg chip. The quality...

Easy to use

I got this for Christmas and was afraid of it at first, new technology for me...was a 35mm user. Now this is very simple camera, just pont and shoot, hook up to computer with plug, it asks a few quetions and download in a few seconds. You can delete pictures from camera card as you download them on computer too. Camera came with a picture album cd so you can play with you pictures , like crop etc.. Very good Gift..

When I got my first digital camera, this worked great and produced good lookinhg photos easily. As a earlier model, technical features paled compared to todays models, but if mine still worked (it broke after 5 years), I would still be using it.
