Most HelpfulI have used this gym since the first week my daughter was born.
I used it to put her on her stomach, but she always hated tummy time after 5 minutes no matter where she was. At least this gym wipes off easily which comes in handy after she drools or spits up during the dreaded tummy time.
On her back, she would stare at the bubbles on the toy bar.
The fish that makes music plays two different songs. They remind me of Popeye. This fish was actually the first toy my daughter ever had any interest in. She would just stare at it for long periods of time, and she loved to hear the songs play. She still...
I got the Fisher Price Kick and Crawl Aquarium for my son when he was about 10 weeks old or so and he liked it then. He is now 20 weeks old and he loves it! There are three different ways to use this toy.
The first is as a play mat/gym. The toys hang above babies head by strong velcro and there is a ball for baby to kick at the foot of the toy. At first my son couldn't figure out what to do witht he toys but now he can push the button to make the fish play music. One thing I wish this toy featured is an option ot have the fish play music continueously because my son gets bored and tired...
review »The Fisher Price Ocean Wonders play mat is great for one big reason: it's versitile. It grows with your child. The basic mode for the play mat is like most others--baby lies on its back with toys hanging overhead. The mat also, however, converts to "tummy time" mode by propping up one end so you can lean toys against it. Better yet, the play mat can convert into a tunnel for older toddlers to enjoy.
My daughter has had a blast with this through all phases. She enjoyed it as a simple play mat when she was an infant. She's now three, and still enjoys playing with the tunnel. It's nice to actually...
review »My name is Sheela and I have a 9-month old named Jayden and he is in to everything. He likes to play around and act silly so I thought the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Kick and Crawl Aquarium would be perfect for him. He just loves the lights and colors and he loves the sounds. When I saw it I knew he would love it. He plays with it all the time. I have to make him stop playing with it when it's time to go to bed. Fisher Price is a name that I can depend on and a name that I have always relied on for my son's safe play time. This toy is wonderful. It occupies Jay long enough so that I can get things...
review »I wanted a tummy time toy, and the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders was that plus a crawl through toy for later. I wasn't all impressed with it myself, but my son loves it! He played on his stomach and back on it for the first 8 months, and then I turned it into the crawl-through now for the past month and he just has a blast going in and out, plus playing with the different toys. I just didn't like how easy he kept knocking it apart since its velcro straps but thats really not a big deal.
I was really excited when I received this toy. It is very versatile--baby can play with it on their back, tummy, or when crawling. My son really liked the musical fish. And when he got to his tummy, he really liked the mirror. Now that he is crawling, he doesn't care much about it. He seemed to enjoy the tunnel for a few minutes, but then he was off to something else.
This is a great toy, but it just didn't seem to keep my son's interest for very long.
my lil boy and lil girl both used this the toys sit close enough to their faces so they could see them when they were newborns
I thought this was a great toy that my baby really enjoyed and it lasted for a while since it has three different stages!
