I've had my Fujifilm camera for about 4 months now. It's been great! I purchased this camera to replace my previous camera that had been lost. It was an unexpected expense at the time, so I definitely had a budget. Luckily this fit in perfectly! It had a high resolution, rechargable battery (I had using disposables in cameras - such a pain), big display, pretty color, lens protection and (most importantly) it was the right price. I did a lot of research on this camera and several others, and I'm very glad with the decision I made. The camera is extremely user friendly. You literally just point and shoot. The zoom function is easy to spot/use and as I previously mentioned, the screen is very large and you can clearly see all the menu options. I really like the sliding front, as it offers extra protection for the lens. Also, the zoom is located inside the camera, so it does not move at all when adjusting. Great feature!

I've had this camera for a few months. Overall I've been happy with camera for cost. I'll list some positive and negative attributes I've seen. Positives:The camera is very sleek looking.  Fast start up. Overall takes very good quality pictures. The cost of the camera is very affordable. A camera with these specs would cost twice this much just a couple years ago. Good digital zoom range. The battery life length on this camera is amazing! Tons of options and features and settings on this cameraVery easy transfer pictures to computer or email with memory card or USB cordGreat picture review features. Procedures make accidental deletion of pictures very difficult to do as there are 3 steps or button presses involved to do so on camera. Downsides:The slide lens can inadvertently slide up and down turning camera on unexpectedly.  This is definitely a camera for recreational use.  Delay between  depressing picture button and actual taking of pic can be long. I'll depress half way and let the camera focus before fully depressing for the shot. This is fine but makes likelihood of moving or action shots tough.Pics without flash are almost always fuzzy.  Battery lock can become unlocked rather easily.

I purchased this camera for more Megapixels than my last camera had. This camera takes amazingly clear photos and outdoor shots seem to capture every little detail. It took a little longer to figure out compared to my other cameras, but I believe that is due to its compact design and all the settings are in one place.The battery actually holds a charge quite well. I went on vacation and charged the camera before we left and it just started to die out on the 8th day after more than 300 pictures. I was quite impressed. And not only does this camera take great pictures and was easy to use, it also looks great. It fits easily in a back pocket, which is great when you have kids and carry the camera around for that perfect shot. It is a pain to dig through a purse or diaper bag. It is about the size of a cell phone. The colors are bright and vibrant as well and you could def find one to suit your personality or match your other items. I love this camera!!
