My daughter and I have been going to Trends, a show at Nordstrom's Department store.This is held twice a year. It's a make~up event that shows off, the up and coming looks, tips and tricks. Well you know how they have free gift with purchase. We had made a purchase, and received a free gift package. Inside were a few items, like a blush, eyeshadow, lipstick even mascara. One being more like a sample size .01 oz, I believe is suppose to be a 10 day supply, so far ***Estee Lauder More Than Mascara Moisture-Binding Formula 01 Rich Black ***has surpassed that. Lately for work I been putting on liner and mascara. Not really thinking to much about it, just liking the look. Now I'm use to the look, feel naked without it now. For me I would just put it on for the occasional use, which now is a habit. Gives me a little something, something on my face . I don't need the mascara for length, just like adding lets say, maybe volume. Color, something to bring my eyes out a tad. I bought the other one which I recently wrote about, only feeling that black was a bit much on me. Brown feeling drowned out. So finally I decided to give the*** Estee Lauder More Than Mascara Moisture-Binding Formula 01 Rich Black ***a go. Since I was somewhat disappointed in L'Oreal clumping so soon. I decided to try this brand, and then use the highlights from L'Oreal. That so far has been working for me. Before I decided to highlight, I was wearing only the ***Estee Lauder More Than Mascara Moisture-Binding Formula 01 Rich Black. ***I received two compliments from ladies asking me "What kind of macara are you wearing? You hve no clumps and your eyes look fantastic" I'm sure I blushed somewhat, anyone who knows me, knows I do not take cmpliments well. ***My Viewpoint: Estee Lauder More Than Mascara Moisture-Binding 01 Rich Black,*** did just what I would expect a mascara to do. Be clump free, add a little bit of volume so my eyelashes shine. I'm very pleased with trying this brand of mascara, and type. Not sure of the pricing on this as it is not a full sizes mascara. Yet I wouldn't call it a free sample, as a purchase had to be made (you know they made their money on this).

Estee Lauder more than mascara mouisture-binding formula actuaqlly improved the condition of my lashes! The mascara is very easy to use. I did not notice any clumping on the brush... I think that's a great start... no clumping on the brush usually less clumping on my lashes. I did not have any issues with the mascara flaking either. This is very important to me because I do wear contact lenses. I was not sure what to expect with the "moisture-binding formula". I did notice after a few uses, that my lashes were in a little bit better condition and definitely moisturized and it made my lashes look so glossy! This is a definite plus! The mascara does not have great staying power and I did find that it does smudge a bit. The applicator brush is really full and tapered and I did not have any problems reaching the tiny lashes in the corners of my eyes. I would definitely recommend this mascara!

I first tried this when I received it as part of a free gift promotion. I absolutely love this mascara.  It goes on smooth and clump free, and makes my lashes glossy.  Normally, I would purchase mascara at the drug store, since I replace the tube every couple of months.  I have purchased this mascara several times, and it's well worth the price for me.  My lashes are thin and stubby, but they look long and luxurious after using this product.  It stays on all day, and doesn't smudge or flake.  It can be easily removed with soap and water.  Some mascaras irritate my sensitive eyes, but I never have a problem using this one.  The brush is large, which some people may not like, but it works well for me.  I think you get more even coverage with the large brush anyhow.  You can apply more than one layer, for a more intense look.  The black shade is very black, one of the darkest I've found.  I have not tried any other shade.  This is a product I keep coming back to.

Estee Lauder's More Than Mascara has a good formula, but the mascara brush is not my favorite. The formula does help make my eyelashes stand out by appearing longer and does not clump up easily. Washing off the mascara did take a little longer because there were stil remnants left after using facial soap and water. I did have to use a Q-tip with eye makeup remover to really get the mascara fully off of my eyes. The brush on the other hand is what I have an issue with because I feel it is too big. I personally like my mascara brushes to be curved and not so huge. When I applied the mascara to my lashes it just felt as though it was harder to maneuver. I wouldn't go out on a special trip to buy this product, but if it was given to me as a gift I would use it because the formula is pretty good. If large brushes don't bother you, then you might want to try this product and see what you think for yourself.
