Enterprise Rent-A-Car Review Summary
Customer reviews of Enterprise Rent-A-Car consistently rave about the “fun cars,” and the “very friendly staff." Many reviewers have been “upgraded to exceptional new vehicles for one reason or another without any extra charges.” The company offers “nice clean cars and the prices are within reason,” but one business traveler warns, “Don't get stuck at another airport due to weather or anything like that. Even with a call to the enterprise office, they will not guarantee that they will hold your car reservation.” FLL and ORD facilities are quite a distance from the airport, but most other airport rental counters are handy, with cars being “very easy to return and pick up.”

Enterprise! Dudes! You TOTALLY ROCK! — I rent cars pretty frequently, and when I do, I almost always turn to "The Big E". Enterprise says, "we'll pick you up", and for me, it's not the promise of a ride over to their office that lures me in, it's the "pick me up" of having a good rental…

Intro — When the minivan needs to be fixed, my husband always tells me to take it in on a day when I don't need it. Yeah, right, when would that be? I run the carpool alone, both drop off and pick up, along with running the kids after school to a variety of different activities. There isn't…

I had a very bad experience at the Framingham, Massachusetts Enterprise at 298 Worcester Road. My experience at the location at 1701 West Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach, Florida was so outstanding I have to rave. — My mom had a fender bender so her car was in the shop. When I arrived in Florida I called Enterprise. She had already contacted them because it went through her insurance company. When I called they said they’d have Wayne are our condo within 20 minutes. Five minutes because Wayne arrived he called to let us know he was close by – and right on time. …

i had the unfortunate experience of doing business with the wards road enterprise office. for my son's birthday on march 28th i went to rent a car so i could take him to chuck e cheese. it was a one day rental. the only car at the airport location was a raggedy kia rio. i was unhappy with that so he called the wards road location. they had a chevrolet cobalt. upon arriving everything went smoothly. they even did a free upgrade to a dodge caliber they had just gotten in brand new. everything was fine at this time. i kept the car until the next afternoon and dropped it off and went on my way.…

Well where to start?? Before I type this , please let me state that I wrote Enterprise with this concern and NEVER received a reply back. My car needed to be in the shop for a week, my insurance set us up with Enterprise as we had used them in the past with good results. Now a few weeks before my time for a rental my daughter needed a rental also (her car backed into mine) and they gave her a PT Cruiser. I rode home with her and commented how it was hard for me to get in and out of it with the arthritis in my knees and hip and how I wouldn't be able to drive one of these. I requested then…

Wasn't sure whether we'd have a good experience after all the things I'd read in reviews about Enterprise, but we got to the small regional airport late in the day on a Thursday afternoon. The compact we had reserved was gone and so we were upgraded to a Nissan Murano, a nice SUV (horrible gas mileage, though). — The manager (only one person doing all the tasks) didn't write down a large scratch on the left rear bumper, and I made my husband go back in and have her identify it on her copy. I'd heard of people getting charged for just that sort of thing and I didn't want us…

My family has used Enterprise on numerous occassions. When we have had to have our own cars repaired we always use Enterprise. They always have comparable cars available or they upgrade you at no additional cost. They work with most of the local car dealerships in my area and provide you a car while yours is in for repair. They will pick you up if you need them to and will drive you to get your car when you drop the rental off. Never met a staff member who wasn't extremely friendly and helpful. Very affordable! I wouldn't use anyone else for a rental car. Also, if you are car shopping,…

Super fast friendly service. Very prompt service to airport. Vehicle very clean and well maintained. Shuttle operators very courteous. Didn't have to wait at all for my ride to airport even though it was just me in van. Economy vehicle not available so we received a free upgrade. When we checked in to receive vehicle, the process was very suprisingly quick! They provided maps to and from location and tips on…

I have found Enterprise Rent a Car to be a really good car rental company. The only con I have experienced with Enterprise is sometimes you have to wait for a car because they keep most of their cars rented out most of the time. They have nice clean cars and the prices are within reason. The staff is very friendly at the locations I have been to. I am a repeat customer and I like…

I RESERVED A VAN WELL IN ADVANCE TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER TO COLLEGE IN NORTH CAROLINA. WE WENT TO GET THE VAN AND THEY DID NOT HAVE WHAT I RESERVED. THEY TRIED TO PUT US IN A PANEL VAN WITH TWO SEATS. I WOUND UP TAKING MY OWN CAR AND SENDING HER BELONGINGS LATER ON. I WAS REALLY UPSET THAT WAS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER…

I have had two experiences with Enterprise and they were mixed based on the locations. — First location was in Bangor Maine and the service was super. I needed an auto for a replacement on insurance and was lacking funds as I was just starting a new job that week. I had called 5 minutes before closing and was told not a problem and come in and "we will take care of everything". This was a very cold winter day and I arrived to find a warm car, ice and snow cleared off. I entered the office which had been closed for 35 minutes and offered a fresh cup of coffee and donuts. The individual…

A couple of months ago I needed to rent a car. My insurance company would pay for one of two companies, Enterprise or Hertz. Since Enterprise was two blocks from my house, I chose Enterprise. — — When I called, the voice and the other end of the phone was very friendly and accommodating. That same person was there when I went to get my car and remembered my name. I was interested in a small, simple car and they didn't have any at that location. They called around, however, and found such a car at a nearby location. They drove me over there to pick up the Chevrolet Cobalt I was…

I got an upgrade because there were no economy cars left. That was nice, since the guy behind the counter scoffed at me for choosing an economy car in Pheonix. — — I was very happy with the quick, courteous service until I was asked about insurance. I booked through Travelocity and did not know anything about insurance, whether I needed to buy more insurance (on the car), or how much it was ultimately going to cost me. I felt rushed in my decision there at the airport, though the guy would have waited for me to pull out my calculator, I would have felt silly. — — I…

We have rented from Enterprise a couple of time in the last couple of months. Both times, we were treated great. I especially like the 50% off promotion on weekends. Because we have 6 kids and 2 adults, we have a Suburban to fit all of us, but the gas mileage is horrible! We have gone on a couple of weekend trips with just a couple of kids and figured out that by renting with this promotion, we save money! With the cost of the rental and the gas, it is cheaper than just gas in the Suburban, and we keep the miles off of our vehicle. But only if you decline…

I rented this car from the Enterprise Rent-a-Car back in April of 2003 to go from Salem, Oregon to Seattle Washington to pick up my then fiancee from the airport and return to Salem. — My old car wouldn't make it that far and back. I also didn't have a credit card. I did have to pay a deposit but it wasn't bad at all. I got a regular compact car for a good price. I got me there with no problems and i was able to return it in great condition and there we no overage charges on miles and all of my deposit was returned with a smile. The only problem I had with the car was the…
