Eden Pure Quartz Infrared Portable Heater Reviews

This EdenPURE is an amazing product.  I can heat my living room, dining room, and kitchen throughout fall and winter and my furnace rarely kicks on.  I bought another one for our bedroom just because I didn't want to move the heater back and forth each day.  If you're concerned about negative reviews, I would just be very careful about the dealer that you purchase from.  I called around and bought from EdenPureStore.com.  They had the most knowledgable and friendly staff.  I think that most of the negative reviews for this product are customer service related.  So, I would encourage people...

Please Google this product "Eden Pure" well before purchasing. Numerous reports indicate that the product is misrepresented and does not offer the value for its price. The manufacturer has very poor customer service (if at all) and does not stand behind its product.

As I look back over my purchase of the Eden Pure, I tend to think that I was sold a bill of goods.

The product works but it hardly heats a 20 by 20 room. I gets maybe 8 by 8 worth of sustainable heat.I have used it in my basement and have not been able to keep all that warm, in the sitting area.

I will grant you that this was a pretty tough winter, but I am still waiting for the proposed saving that I was supposed to get from this product. I have also noticed that while it is initially programmed for a setting, it is unnecessarily difficult to make the room warmer without an engineering degree...

We bought the 25000 BTU Eden Pure Quartz Heater last year and I wouldn't trade it for anything.  Our house is open with a sloped ceiling that at it's peak is 18 feet.  The upstairs part is all open as well as the dining room and kitchen.  We heat with a wood stove when it gets really cold, ( we do not have a furnance) and use a small propane wall heater for the days that are cold but not freezing.  It does fine but needed a little something extra to take the chill out and keep it comfortable.  Who would have thought that this Eden Pure heater would do so much in such a big space!  Does it...

We purchased one of the 1000 EdenPure heaters when they first came out.  We have been very happy with it although we have not purchased a lot of portable heaters.  We do like it better than the Delonghi portable heater we used to have.  Now you have to understand why we felt the need for one.  We heat our 1400 sf home with a pellet stove.  It doesn't get the heat to all the rooms.  Therefore, when we do want more heat in one of the back bedrooms or our add on sunroom or converted garage weight room, we just roll the heater there and flip it on.  It heats very quickly like a little portable...

The Eden  Pure Qiuartz/Infrared Heater worked well at first. But after using for a month the heater quit heating up. Had to sent it back to the company and replaced it ;in Dec.Ran the new heater  till Feb. and it guit running. This time I had to pay the shipping to return it only to have it replaced Don,t think I be ever buying another one in the near future.

I absolutley love this Eden Pure heater.  We have had many space heaters and this one has lasted longest and warmed the house much better than any of them other kinds.  It is very efficent.  Unlike most space heaters that blow out cold air to warm your house, this heater has hot air coming out it is the best heater made.  Well worth the price.

The Eden heaters provide cozy heat,but if they are plugged into an outlet that has anything else on it - they quit. I absolutly loved mine,but only used them a year before they burnt out and I can't find anyone to attempt repairs.   

The Eden Pure Quartz/Infrared Portable Heater is just average.  I live in a small house with no furnace, so I bought this to heat the living room and kitchen areas.  Most of the time it does a great job, but if it gets below freezing, I have to bring in another small heater to help it out.  I have the "1000" and it was supposed to heat up to 500 square feet and the area I have it for is only about 450. 

Also, after the first winter, it started making a loud, vibrating, noise and I have not been able to find anyone who can fix it or knows what it might be.  It still works, but we can't watch...

Not the cheapest IR unit on the market but has lots of extras to give you more bang for the buck. Suggest you look for the Gen3 1000 even if you have a room smaller than 1000 sq ft. You'll actually use less energy since the auto setting will kick down the wattage once temp is achieved. Also, look for a reconditioned or demo unit. Several official refurbishers on E-Bay offer. They carry the same 3 yr guarantee as a new one but you'll save over a $100. Really good unit IMHO.
