I bought this laundry detergent in hopes of regularly adding it to our white loads to start brightening them up. It did not work the way I expected so I stopped using it our regular laundry. I did, however, find some very good uses for it around the rest of the house that have made it worth the money spent. It is not a cheap product but does last a while. My daughter has her own little toddler chair that has been subjected to spills of milk, juice, chocolate and numerous other snack messes that have left behind stains making it look very dingy. I decided to try this cleaner out on the stains. It is very potent and I made the mistake of mixing up a spray formula and applying it directly, this actually removed the stains and coloring from the fabric in some spots. I have since cleaned it a couple more times but instead applying the cleaner to a towel first and blotting any messes she makes. This has worked wonders on it and the chair looks one hundred times better. I have also used it for stains on the carpet from her spilling her drinks and they have come up well with no discoloration effects to the carpet.

Great bleach substitute. This product is a non-chlorine bleach and is safe for colored clothing as well as a environmental friendly product. It really does work great brightening clothes and leaving them clean and you don't have to worry about bleach spilling or removing the new look of your clothes. Performance I have to admit that I was hesitant using this product on colored clothes but I had some table linens that had tea spilled on them, sat awhile before I knew what had happened and I thought I would probably have to pitch them. I put them in the washer, added the OxoBrite and like magic they came out looking like new. This is a great stain-removal. It safely whitens and brighten clothes and I highly recommend using it for stains. It really help in keeping your clothes looking new. Scent This product doesn't have that "bleach" smell like chlorine products and it leaves clothes looking and smelling fresh and clean.

I bought the Oxo Brite at my local health food store. I was looking for an alternative to regular old toxic smelling bleach, and I found one. The Oxo Bright is a non-chlorine bleach that is safe to even use on colored clothes. The great thing about it, is that it's all natural, and can be added into your washing machine with any laundry detergent of your choice. I add the Oxo Bright into all my loads of laundry now. It got rid of that old dingy look in a lot of my clothes, and made them look brighter and whiter again. I was going to throw them away, but Oxo Bright saved my clothes. I also used ti with my bright colored clothing, and found that they also looked brighter and cleaner then with regular laundry detergent alone. Even my sheets, after being washed over and over again, look brand new again. I will continue to buy Oxo Bright because not only is it safe to use, but it does an amazing job. Everything looks brand new with Oxo Bright. Performance I feel like the Oxo Bright is a miracle worker. It made all of my dingy white clothes and sheets look practically brand new again. It also made my colored clothes brighter and stain free. It completely took all those old stains out of everything. Scent It is an unscented product, and does not smell like bleach at all. It gets everything clean without that strong smell that bleach products have.

Oxo Brite Non-chlorine bleach is an extremely effective clothes whitener alternative. I won't use bleach on my clothes because of the effects it has on the environment and also because of my sensitive skin. Regular beach can leave chemical residue on clothes that irritates my skin. Oxo Brite is a non-chlorine bleach that uses all-natural oxygen to whiten and brighten clothes. The oxygen won't bother or irritate skin. Although you can wash with this by itself, I rarely use this alone and instead add a scoop to my normal laundry detergent. When added to other detergents, it really ups their cleaning power. Clothes really do come out cleaner. When I use it on dingy shirts, the shirts look brighter. It also removes 99% of stains-I've used it to remove those under-arm stains that appear on my white dress shirts and it gets them out every time. To get most stains out I let it pre-soak and throw it in the wash as usual. Works everytime!

This product works great.  I do not use chlorine bleach so this is a excellent replacement.  Besides it will not thin out the fibers in your clothing like clorine bleach and they will last longer.  My usual routine involves presoaking in either hot or cold water.  I would only use hot water for special items like a hand made yellowed baby gown.  I couldn't believe the results.  The gown came out looking brand new.  I was so pleased.  For stubborn stains I would make a paste out of the product and apply it then let it sit for a half hour or so. It works so well on tennis whites. It works especially  well on ring around the collar stains.  Again you can either soak the item or use the paste method.  This is my go to for whitening whites.  The price does vary but it's worth it for nice bright whites.  This product even got out grass stains on jeans.  Also ketchup, mustard and blueberry stains with no real effort just soaking in water.

I have very sensitive skin so have to be careful what I use in the laundry. I have to use very mild detergent, like Woollite, which works very well for most things, but occasionally I need a little more stain removing power. I had heard good things about oxygen bleach, but found many brands (like Oxyclean) to be heavily scented and therefore unsuitable. Then I found OxoBrite- an unscented oxygen bleach. It works really well. For really bad stains I find that it works best to mix the OxoBrite powder with warm to hot water- then I add cold water if the garments I am washing are temperature delicate. It doesn't seem to mix well in cold water. I use one scoop per gallon or so of water. Then I soak the stained garments for an hour or so then throw them in the normal wash- they come out unstained! I also use a scoop to brighten up whites that are going a bit dingy. I just add a scoop to my washing machine for this. OxoBrite works well on white and COLORS. I am very pleased to have found such a good product. Scent It is unscented- which is very good for me.

Oxo Brite is a great alternative to whitening up your clothing, sheets, linens, or whatever! Our family is becoming more and more conscious of avoiding harsh chemicals in common cleaners. Bleach can be very harsh, but very handy for brightening up white sheets (which we have). That's where OxoBrite comes in--a natural, safer alternative that works really well. Our old "white" sheets and pillow covers had gotten so dingy that they looked cream-colored, but after washing them with Oxo Brite they looked good as new and sparkling white! I couldn't believe how well it worked for a natural, "green" product. It was almost too good to be true. We now have a white duvet cover for our comforter as well--I always thought an all-white bed was way too impractical to keep clean, but now that I've seen the amazing powers of Oxo Brite I am won over and think you can easily pull off more white linens in the home. I stumbled upon OXO BRITE at Trader Joe's. The directions boast rescue treatment for dingy laundry as well as the ability to beat the toughest of stains. Well, I must agree! When my new , cute white jeans where sprayed with strawberry smoothie by my three-year old, I wet the stains with water, put a liberal amount of the Oxo Brite on the stains and let it rest over night. I then washed in cold with Tide Free and Voila! my smoothie stains were no where to be seen. I was intrigued. My son has a shirt that had chocolate stains that were old and had be washed and dried many times. I was sure it would simply stay an Elmo shirt covered in chocolate for life. I soaked with water and sprinkled Oxo Brite and let sit overnight again. I washed in the machine again, guess what, the OLD stains came out. I was hooked. I have since been testing the stuff on slipcovers, old towels and socks. I am pleasantly surprised at the power of the powder and I appreciate that is natural, fragrance-free, environmentally kind and not tested on animals. Challenge your toughest stains!
