With a Little Pruning, Will be Great

4

Anyone who has lived or stayed in Europe for some time over the past years and has had to wash their own clothes will know that the 'drop packets' of laundry detergent are being used over there, and work great. So, I was just wondering how long it would take for them to bring the same concept to the United States. Dropps is basically the same idea. They are small, dissolvable plastic packets filled with a small amount of highly concentrated detergent that can be 'dropped' (hence the name) into the washing machine drum and used with all different types of washers - HE and top-loaders - and clothes. Dropps is friendlier to environment for many reasons - no harsh chemicals, less water, less plastic, less waste. You're not using a big jug of detergent to get similar or near similar effects. This is a very modern, simple, and easy way to wash clothes. The cleaning power of these little packets will do large, medium, and small loads with stellar results. While it doesn't 'whiten' whites as much as one might like, it does bring back the color, texture, and overall beauty to some of your favorite articles of clothing. Gentle on fabrics, it doesn't fade out grays, dark blues, blacks, or anything that is prone to getting that *cheap and saggy* appearance that comes with using traditional laundry detergents over a set period of time. These are good for using on anything from sensitive delicates, lingerie, and even some of your more heavy-duty laundry, as it is less messy and less harsh than a traditional detergent. Currently, there are three types of these laundry pacs available - the original 'Fresh Scent', scent-and-dye free, and the 'Baby' brand (they're pink). I'd suggest purchasing the Scent free version of Dropps if you're not too crazy about scent, or might not like the fresh minty, pine-trees-and-some-unknown-fragrance smell that it has. It's actually very pleasing once you dry it, but it can come off strongly in the washing machine. I suggest using **Downy's Ultra Mountain Spring** fabric softener with this - very complementary and not overpowering at all when used correctly, and when you dry your clothes, they'll smell so refreshing. Who are these good for? Small families might find great relief using these as they come in bags, not jugs, so they're easy to store, carry, and use. Singles or couples living in cramped quarters with limited space will be glad to find an alternative laundry detergent that has, basically, the same cleaning power as a regular, name-brand laundry detergent. And it's even good for those of us who just want something new, fresh, innovative, and easy-to-use, so that in-between washing all those shirts, jeans, sweaters and bed spreads, we're leaving one less carbon footprint every time we wash clothes.

Dropps are great!

I was given a sample package of Dropps to try and loved them sooo much! They are very very easy to use. Just Dropp them into the laundry. No measuring. No waste. No mess. No drips! They don't use extra water to make you feel like you are getting more. They are very earth friendly and green. They can be used in any type of washer too! I used them on my toddlers clothes that has stains that had been set in for a few days. Whiles Dropps didn't take the stains out competely the first wash al most all stains came out without any scrubbing to pre treatment. The Fresh Scent is very light that I think even those with sensativities to strong smells probably wouldn't have concerns or issues. These would be great for teaching your kids to do their own laundry! My daughter is only 2, but she still likes to help and she can with Dropps. I can give her one and she can just throw it in without even being able to see into the washing machine.
