I love my Delonghi hand blender. After reviewing many hand blenders I settled on the Delonghi and I have not been disappointed. The blender came with a variety of attachments and each one works beautifully. I usually use the stick blender for puree sauces, but I have also used it when making home made soap. Even after mixing lye the blender has maintained it's sharp appearance. I love that it has two attachments for stick blending. The wider attachment works great to puree tomatoes or other cooked vegetables in larger pots. There are multiple speeds but even at the low speed the blender has a lot of power. We recently used the food processor attachment to finely chop onion and celery and it worked wonderfully. Really this hand blender can replace multiple kitchen appliances. I was skeptical about using a hand blender but it is so much easier to use than transferring from a pot to a stand up blender. The Delonghi hand blender works great, has a lot of power and is a breeze to clean. It is a great product.
