Not for my skin

3

I normally love DHC skincare products, but my skin didn't like this facial scrub. My husband tried the sample I got and really liked it so I ordered a tube when it was on sale. This scrub uses apricot seed granules and has a fine texture to (theoretically) gently exfoliate the skin on your face. The granules are very fine and it feels like it should be very gentle, however the next morning my skin felt quite raw and angry with several blemishes popping up. I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients, but this scrub just didn't agree with my dry, sensitive skin. I tried it again a few weeks later just in case my skin irritation was unrelated to using this product, but the same thing happened. My skin felt quite nice directly after application, but the next morning I had several new blemishes. I guess my husband will have to use up the rest of the tube. Effectiveness For me, it made things worse, but that might not be the case for everyone. Ease of Application It has a very fine texture and feels quite nice at first. Scent Unscented.

I Woke up to Fresher, More Radiant Skin

In my experience, DHC has some pretty good products as well as some poor ones. This facial scrub is one of the better cleansers I have tried from the DHC brand. My only issue is the price point, but a little goes a long way. My best advice would be to ask for a sample before committing to a whole tube, and to be gentle when you apply. Effectiveness DHC facial scrub rinses cleanly, and I have to say that my skin felt pristine after use. It did slightly dry out my skin, but I have oily skin so I was glad it did. I followed up with my Olay Regenerist and woke up to fresher, more radiant skin and I'm happy to report that I didn't end up with any scratches or skin irritation. Ease of Application The scrub poured into my palm like an iridescent silvery snake. The texture is both silky and gritty. Adding a little water to the scrub and rubbing my hands together created a soft foam making it easy to apply to my face. The rounded, apricot seed granules that are used for the "scrubbers" are really thorough. In fact, I had to slow myself down and massage more gently so as not to cause any irritation. It doesn't take much effort to buff the dead skin away. Scent The scent is very light, pleasant and neutral.
