This product was absolutely the worst skin care lotion that I have ever used. The description on the package is misleading, because my skin definitely did not feel refreshed! My skin started to burn after I used this on my face. The pain was so great that I needed to instantly wash the product off my face. Maybe everyone else who used this will not have this problem, but I definitely had a negative experience. I guess I had some type of reaction to this product? In all honesty, I cannot give this a positive review due to the bad experience that I had with it. However, I would try the product for yourself and see how it works on your skin before dismissing it completely. Effectiveness This was a horrible product. Maybe everyone else will not have the same experience as me, but irritated my skin horribly! Ease of Application I suppose it is easy to use with a squeeze of the nozzle. Scent No scent, and really not applicable for this type of product.

The Clean and Clear Deep Action Refreshing Gel Cleanser is a quick and easy way to leave your skin feeling fresh, cleansed and oil free. Clean and Clear is a good line for teens who struggle with oily skin, but I also have oily skin and this has helped to keep it to a minimum and the oil under control. It comes at a good price and has a good amount and the presentation is nice and easy to use. One pump is enough for your face and neck so it lasts for a long time. Its nice to have one by the sink and one in the shower. I have noticed that it tends to dry out the skin a little bit, so I like to mix it up with other cleansers that keep the oil under control, but hydrate at the same time. Effectiveness Cleans, refreshes, limits the amount of oil on the skin. Ease of Application Super easy, like any other liquid face wash. Scent The scent is pretty soft and non-irritating. As soon as you wash off your face and dry it, you cannot smell anything.

My skin goes through phases. Sometimes it's oily, other times it likes to have dry patches, and some days, I swear everything irritates it. On my oily days, from the slightly oily, to the extremely hot summer days, this product is a lifesaver. I love the gel formula because it's extremely gentle and almost calming to the skin. While some cleansers can leave a film on top of the skin, this one doesn't. It leaves my skin feeling soft, calm and clean, yet it doesn't strip my skin of everything. It just leaves my skin feeling perfect. If you want a cleanser that's super moisturizing... don't pick this one up. I'd only recommend this to people who are on the normal to oily side of the spectrum. I've never had an issue with this breaking me out, which is typical of Clean & Clear products for me. It's a tiny bit scented, but nothing to worry about. I'm not quite sure why it's called "deep action," because that doesn't really apply to the product. This is something you can use every day.

I find that the pump bottle just doesn't give me as much lather as I would like with a single pump so I go ahead and use two when I used this product. When I used it for two or three days in a row I noticed around my nose and forehead got a little bit dry and under my eyes somewhat. I would recommend every other day use with this one. It caused some tingling to my skin as soon as I applied it and started lathering it up. It stings but in a good way. The tingle makes it feel like it's doing a deeper cleanse but I think it's just designed to perk you up some. I don't notice a significant difference at all. This does not help on my blackheads or T Zone. What I found it best for was just washing every day or two and keeping breakouts to a minimum. In my case, breakouts and acne are different from blackheads. My blackheads are deep and I don't find much help with the drugstore brands. This is a great wash, cleanser, and refreshing wash just be careful in sensitive areas as the tingling agents seem to also dry a little. Also, it removes makeup but best to take off eye makeup with a removing cloth because this stings intensely. Overall good buy. Effectiveness Great at keeping skin clear and breakouts down but does nothing for my blackheads. Ease of Application Very easy to use. Takes me two pumps though. Scent Very refreshing and tingly. Great buy for guys and girls.

Clean and Clear Deep Action Refreshing Gel Cleanser is exactly as its name states, refreshing!! It has kind of a mint-ish smell that really adds to the whole refreshing experience! I really like to use this in the morning because the smell really wakes me up! When I start to massage my face with it, my skin starts tingling.  The tingling makes my face feel like it's really cleaning deep into the pores! The price is great too! It's definitely one of the cheapest ones on the market! I have tried many face washes and I would say that this one is definitely the best one to use in the morning to wake yourself up! It has a very easy pump just like handsoap so you don't have to squeeze it out and you get just enough with one push on the pump.  I haven't done this before but I would caution not to get it into your eyes because with the tingling and the minty-ness it would probably sting pretty good!  I would most definitely reccommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing, exhilarating face-washing experience!
