***Quick View:*** I have very long hair that has been highlighted and heat styled often. I know washing my hair too often only adds to damage so I try not to overwash it. However, I'm really not happy unless my hair is very clean. I tried sprays but they were powdery and not a good hair cleaning solution for me. **Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo** seemed like a good idea and is but just not for me. ***My Take on Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo*** This shampoo is a clear liquid. It smells very fresh and squirts out of the bottle easily. You are supposed to completely wet your hair with the product, lather, then towel dry and style. There are a few things about that which caused me to realize this was not the "waterless shampoo" for me. **Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo** has to be completely saturated to work which means, for me, using a ton of the product. It also means a wet head and the need to dry and style my hair all over again. Since I am that close to just washing my hair, I might as well and use a conditioner to avoid damage and go all the way. Because my hair is so long, it took about a third of the 16 ounce bottle to saturate my hair. The smell was great though and definitely deodorized my hair and scalp. I towel dried my hair and styled it but it felt a bit sticky as did my hands. After, my hair didn't look as good as if I had washed it the regular way but it did look less weighed down and clean. I don't suffer from oily hair at all which is why the powder sprays never really worked well for me. I just want to refresh my hair, not soak up oils. This product does do that but, if I am going to have wet hair anyway and have to go through all the steps to get it styled, I might as well just wash it the regular way. However, for elderly people, this could be a great product. I know it would have been great for my dad when he was in the nursing home. He had limited mobility and washing his hair was tough. It would have also been great for my bed bound mother in the hospital when she was in what was described a semi vegetative state. We had a lot of trouble washing her hair and rinsing it in a pan-type device. For those who are injured or ill, **Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo **can keep their hair clean without the need to rinse or even move them from where they are seated or lying. This works decently but not for those who are able bodied and can easily get to sink or tub to rinse their hair in my opinion. ***My Viewpoint*** **Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo **is great for the elderly, bed bound, or those who are unable to get to a shower or sink to do a full hair washing. It's good for hiking as well as camping when water is not readily available to do a full hair washing. For those of us who just want to spruce up our hair and remove residue or oils from it, this product is too much work. It's one step from simply shampooing and rinsing. Still I give it ***4 stars*** for the people who I mentioned above. Effectiveness I didn't like it because it was almost like washing my hair so I might as well have but for those who can't get to a sink to rinse or for elderly bed ridden people, this product does work and does clean the hair and remove oils and scents. Too much work for me but a good option for hose that I mentioned. Scent It smells very fresh and clean.

I have very dry and brittle hair but the roots are greasy.I know that shampooing my hair often only makes it worse.The problem is with my hair greasy at the scalp my head can get very itchy.I also dont like the way my hair looks and feels when left unwashed.I never thought about using a no rinse or dry shampoo until I came across one.When I saw Clean Life No-Rinse Shampoo I thought it would be a good solution to my hair problems.It only made matters worse.It did dry the grease out from my roots but it stripped the rest of my hair of all moisture .It left my hair dry and in knots.It left my hair with a weird residue that resembled chalk dust.I ended up having to condition my hair to get the knots out and shampoo it anyway.
