Kind of pricey, but it works!!!

I have tried several allergy medications. Several have caused drowsiness and did not prohibit the allergic reactions I was having. This medication is rather costly, but the effects are well worth the extra cost. After the Florida hurricanes in 2004, several of our buildings had mold infestation. Usually it wasn't enough to be harmful, but it was enough to set off my allergies. Coughing, sneezing, scratchy throat. Many allergy products worked temporarily, but caused me to be drowsy. I have tried several different types of allergy medicines and what they say about this one really works. It doesn't false advertise and it really works. I would recommed this one to my friends. It's fast acting and doesn't make me drowsy.Be careful if you suffer from certain medical conditions, but in general, Claritin-D is one of the best combination allergy/sinus-congestion medicines that you can get. With allergies in the air, I have tried everything from countertop to over the counter medicines. then came a Doctors advice, try claritin, to see if it helps with my allergies. this advice came from my family Doctor and not my allergist Doctor. One time , i had a cold and i could not breathe.I was at a panic.I called My doctor and he recommened Claritin.I had never heard of Claritin before, but i tried it anyways.I got it, ,and it cleared me up right away.I was very impressed.No side effects.It is non habit forming.Non drowsy which i like.Hard to find medicine not drowsy.Its long lasting releif, and works quicky.When i got it it was still a prescription, so the price was great, now that its over the counter, it is still a great price.The pills were perfect size to swallow,i have a hard time swallowing pills.And no taste… read full review »

I have suffered from hay fever, mold and tree allergies all throughout my life and have taken various prescription meds. For a number of years, I had to take allergy shots, sometimes four times a month. This became very inconvenient and costly. Some years ago, I had a friend tell me about the benefits of Claritin. I tend to get sinus infections every time the seasons change. It's something I have grown up with as a kid, and have continued to experience into adulthood. Claritin has been a great solution for me - I have taken it daily for the past several months (fall semester) and have not had the usual sinus symptoms at all. I have suffered with allergies for as long as I remember. I've tried a lot of OTC medicines and they only work for a short time. Presently, I don't have insurance and can't afford to get prescriptions filled forcing me to use what's available in the stores. The problem is that most of them make you drowsey and don't work for all my symptoms. I have tried several allergy medicines with the usual drowsiness associated with most antihitimines. My doctor recommeded this particular one and it keeps me allergy free on a daily basis. I like the fact that I don't have to take several pills to keep the relief that I get from one pill. I like the claritin line. They work great for my constant allergy. However, if you can take the 12-hour, I highly recommend it. It works better and last longer. — I have taken allergy medication since I was a young child. I don't remember big chunks of my childhood because so many days were spend on medication and they made me drowsy. Claritin D is the best allergy medication I have ever tried. It treats your sypmtoms without making you drowsy. I have severe year round allergies that cause chronic sinus infections ( at least 4 or 5 a year) that are very hard to get rid of but when I use Claritin D I only get one or two and they don't last very long. Claritin costs alot more than Benadryl but it is worth the price. Because Benadryl makes me sleepy and I feel like I am drugged on Benadryl but I don't get sleepy or feel drugged with Claritin D. My allergies usually consist of runny nose, itching eyes, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. It's not pleasant to be outside in wonderful weather when the sun is shining and you're wiping your nose with your sleeve and carefully trying to dab at your eyes in an attempt to save your eye makeup that you just put on. I generally suffer from seasonal allergies. I take a Claritin every night before bed and it helps me throughout the day. During the evening, I can usually feel the congestion start up again, but it's not too bad. My husband suffers from everyday and seasonal allergies and this medicine is not strong enough for him. I love claritin I have been taking it for some time now even before you could buy it with out going to the doctors first. I am still using it and I don't want to change. My mother was the one to get me on it she has really bad alergies and it helps her as well. We both use nose spray too which really helps. I love Claritin 24 because it works for indoor and outdoor allergies. I have really bad allergies and Clarition did the trick and fast with in 15 minutes it kicked in and I could finally breath again.
