We have had this machine now for a while, and have been consistently happy with its performance. It is a relatively powerful machine that plain and simply makes good coffee. It is absolutely not a fancy gourmet professional item, but for a home person that just wants to make coffee, go ahead and buy it! Brew Performance Overall great! Ease of Cleaning Easy to clean---and don't need to clean too much. Ease of Use Quite easy. Design Good design for a good product! Durability So far so good!

I love Chefmate products because they're so cheap and affordable. This coffee maker is great. It makes hot hot coffee really quickly in the mornings where you just need your cup of joe to start the day. I also heat up water in there to make tea because it takes less time to boil water in the coffee maker than in a kettle on a stove top. Another upside is that it can hold alot of grounded coffee and keeps the coffee hot for a long time. The downside to the chefmate coffeemaker is that the glassware pot stains very easily and making coffee leaves these streaks all over the machine. You must clean it right away or the stains don't quite come off. I wish they would make a coffeemaker that can be washed in the dishwasher!
