My Viewpoint!
I'm not a techie when it comes to all the features that a camera can do, which is why I only listed the ones I know this camera does, above.
What I do know is that this is a great camera to have handy for...
I love my Canon. First, it's beautiful. It's light and quick, and the pictures it takes are breathtaking. It takes better shots than my friend Mike's $3000 clunker!! I was antsy at first about not having an optical view, but I bit the bullet and have never been happier. I took pictures all summer at the beach and in the winter at the mountains and have had zero problems with glare.
I got it as a bundle deal with a tripod, case and 2G memory card, so the internal memory and fragile screen issues have never affected me. It's always in the case when not in use, and I'm the only one who...
read full review »I got this Canon Powershot SD750 as an early Christmas present (that I picked out) and I absolutely love it! Not only does it have a slim and stylishly compact design, but it is incredibly easy to use. The menu is a dream to navigate (unlike some other models out there) and this model's in-camera image editing capabilities are really impressive for a camera of this size. For a fun way to tweak photos (for someone who is not an image-editing pro) this camera's color swap (and other color) settings are super easy to use. The flash works very well, and the manual settings for different lighting scenarios...
read full review »I was terrified to purchase a digital camera for fear of the 2" manual that usually accompanies such items, however, they have a "basic" manual (9 pages) which is really all you need, and a more in depth booklet for more professional shooting. I finally settled on the Cannon powershot, and took almost 300 pictures by just perusing the "basic" manual. It was amazing. For someone who was very skeptical about a digital, I truly couldn't be happier. It was easy, non-stressful and for the first time since I can remember, the packaging was absolutely correct-"Just point and shoot". I would...
read full review »After going through many cameras (trying them and taking them back for another when they didn't produce what I wanted) we came across the Canon PowerShot 750 ELPH. I haven't been happier with a camera before. This little thing takes amazing snapshots and videos. I love the zoom for snapshots but when I zoom out on video mode it's really blurry. That's my one and only complaint on this camera. It's very easy to upload the pictures to my computer and I love the editing program.
I take it everywhere I go just in case I see a 'Canon' moment. I will use this thing till it doesn't work anymore and when...
read full review »This camera is so great! I have used it for many photo opportunities at work as well as with my family. The previous small camera's I had did not account for the small movements that babies/infants and toddlers make! So, many of my photos of my two little ones were so blury that I couldn't use them. The only good photos I got were of them sleeping! :) This camera is quick, focuses well and has given me very little issues!
I would suggest anyone, from the most basic photo taker, to an advanced photographer that is looking for a smaller camera to purchase this one!
These camera's are user freindly when you aren't sure what you are doing (like my mother) and tech savy for those that do (like my brother and myself).
My brother and I (unknowingly) bough each other the 6 megapixles Cybershot 2 Christmases ago. Mine was stolen, so I upgraded to the 8...now we are getting mom the 10 since she would be using it in her business.
What sold me on this particular camera was the eye peice. You don't realize how important it is to still have one until you have that sun beating down or you are in a really dark room and you can't see the screen.
