First: this camera is an ideal size, easy to take along everywhere. I have had a variety of Canon Powershot cameras since 2004, upgrading every so often for the greater megapixels and new features. This camera is wonderful. I love the big screen, and the rechargeable battery lasts a long time, too! It takes great pictures and great videos. There are tons of features to adjust its exposure to exactly what you're taking pictures of -- in addition to the common ones (auto, manual, kids&pets, portrait, indoor, night portrait, etc)... there's even options for the beach, snow, underwater or aquariums!... read full review »

I love my Canon.  First, it's beautiful.  It's light and quick, and the pictures it takes are breathtaking.  It takes better shots than my friend Mike's $3000 clunker!!  I was antsy at first about not having an optical view, but I bit the bullet and have never been happier.  I took pictures all summer at the beach and in the winter at the mountains and have had zero problems with glare.

I got it as a bundle deal with a tripod, case and 2G memory card, so the internal memory and fragile screen issues have never affected me.  It's always in the case when not in use, and I'm the only one who...

I bought this camera a while ago, but only recently used it for the first time on a trip to Ireland.  I was a little worried about relying on it for something so important, since I hadn't gotten a feel for it yet, but I have 400+ beautiful pictures from this camera.  The best thing about it is that there is very little delay when taking a picture.  That is actually the main reason I chose this camera over other types.  The large viewing screen is also very nice.  The camera is small enough to not be a burden or take up too much space in my purse, but it isn't so small that it is awkward to... read full review »

I've never owned a Canon but they have been so highly recommended to me.  I recently purchased this camera before going on vacation and I am not at all dissappointed.  It is an excellent camera for the money.  The pictures are wonderful.  Previously I owned a Sony, which was very good but I am so much more pleased with the Canon.  It is very easy to use and the quality couldn't be better!

This is one of the best camera I ever had. Solid design and Looks is something which gives this Camera a Value for money. When u have so many camera in the market in the 7 Megapixel area, this one simply stands out because of its look and the widescreen LCD and for the price, its simply perfect..

I got this Canon Powershot SD750 as an early Christmas present (that I picked out) and I absolutely love it! Not only does it have a slim and stylishly compact design, but it is incredibly easy to use. The menu is a dream to navigate (unlike some other models out there) and this model's in-camera image editing capabilities are really impressive for a camera of this size. For a fun way to tweak photos (for someone who is not an image-editing pro) this camera's color swap (and other color) settings are super easy to use. The flash works very well, and the manual settings for different lighting scenarios...

We currently own 5 Canon Powershots and have owned 8 in all, we've introduced them to everyone we know...They work great and almost never let you down...I've loed all of ours and have no complaints. We have a bakery and so they are used for wedding cake pictures and everyday cake pictures. They work very well and are user friendly. My family consists of two high school students and two college students (my parents don't use them too often). We take them to school functions (talent shows, camps, dances, etc.). Great for recording, also. Honestly, I don't know about all the technical qualifications... read full review »

I've had canon's forever and started out with film cameras.  they have never failed me and seem to only get better with time.  canon's are reliably great cameras and you really get value for your money.

the SD750 has a big screen and is lighter than some of it's counter parts and thinner too.  i've heard canon stopped making cameras with such a large screen beacuse they were easily breakable.  i keep my canon in a case and in my purse all the time and haven't had any problems in the last 3 months that i've owned it.

this one is fast and easy to use, they've made some changes with button placements...

I was terrified to purchase a digital camera for fear of the 2" manual that usually accompanies such items, however, they have a "basic" manual (9 pages) which is really all you need, and a more in depth booklet for more professional shooting.  I finally settled on the Cannon powershot, and took almost 300 pictures by just perusing the "basic" manual.  It was amazing.  For someone who was very skeptical about a digital, I truly couldn't be happier.  It was easy, non-stressful and for the first time since I can remember, the packaging was absolutely correct-"Just point and shoot".  I would...

This camera has great picture quality. It is easy to use and has many features. The movie feature has good quailty and will record as much as the SD card will hold, currently I have a 1 GB installed. I have used it mostly indoors and have taken great shots at an aquarium for which it also has a setting. Even pictures where you are not allowed to use a flash come out good. I bought this camera on sale and was hesitant to actually use it as it is bigger than what I actually wanted but it won me over with its quality and features. I would recommend it to anyone. I have also found that even when the... read full review »

After going through many cameras (trying them and taking them back for another when they didn't produce what I wanted) we came across the Canon PowerShot 750 ELPH. I haven't been happier with a camera before. This little thing takes amazing snapshots and videos. I love the zoom for snapshots but when I zoom out on video mode it's really blurry. That's my one and only complaint on this camera. It's very easy to upload the pictures to my computer and I love the editing program.

I take it everywhere I go just in case I see a 'Canon' moment. I will use this thing till it doesn't work anymore and when...

This is my first digitial camera. I haven't figured out all the features yet but I am able to do the basics, and those all work very well.  The large screen is great - you can show others the photos from the screen and they can actually see them. The video feature works well too.  The photo quality is very good - no problem with shakiness.  The original memory card does not hold many photos and I had to soon purchase a larger size.  But overall, I love the camera. It is small and lightweight enough to fit in my jean's pocket, and so I actually take it along on trips and use it, rather than... read full review »

This camera is so great!  I have used it for many photo opportunities at work as well as with my family.  The previous small camera's I had did not account for the small movements that babies/infants and toddlers make!  So, many of my photos of my two little ones were so blury that I couldn't use them.  The only good photos I got were of them sleeping! :)  This camera is quick, focuses well and has given me very little issues!

I would suggest anyone, from the most basic photo taker, to an advanced photographer that is looking for a smaller camera to purchase this one!

These camera's are user freindly when you aren't sure what you are doing (like my mother) and tech savy for those that do (like my brother and myself).

My brother and I (unknowingly) bough each other the 6 megapixles Cybershot 2 Christmases ago. Mine was stolen, so I upgraded to the 8...now we are getting mom the 10 since she would be using it in her business.

What sold me on this particular camera was the eye peice. You don't realize how important it is to still have one until you have that sun beating down or you are in a really dark room and you can't see the screen.
