I have had my canon powershot elph 100 for about 3 years now, and I love it. It is so small and lightweight, it is easy to take everywhere with me. It takes great pictures, I often get asked what kind of camera I use, and people are surprised that it is not a SLR. It has several features, and I love the one where you can take the pic in black and white and have just one color highlighted in it. So neat! It takes relatively good pictures in low light, and pretty decent action pictures as well. I took it to a concert, and even zoomed in, in low light and action, the pictures turned out fantastic. I like that you can set it to auto to have it adjust to your surroundings, or you can do it manually. The battery lasts quite a long time, even in cold. It is also pretty durable. Unfortunately my camera has been dropped many, many times, and it still works great. I honestly think this is the longest I have had a digital camera last. I would for sure buy it again!

I love this camera! First of all it is very compact, and comes in a variety of pretty colors. Beyond the physical features, it is a darn good camera. The quality of the photo's is impressive for a such a tiny point and shoot. I stand by Canon, they make the best camera's in my opinion. Image Quality Images are sharp and clear. It's amazing on how well this camera picks up details. I love that you can instantly review your photo on screen as soon as you take it, and even zoom in and out to get a better look at the image you just took. Performance This camera has a lot of features that come in handy for shooting photo's in different lighting and in various settings. It contains some fun filters to play around with as well. Ease of Use It is extremely easy to use, even someone who is not very tech-savvy would be able to quickly learn the various functions and features. Durability The newer Canon camera's are not made quite as well as the one's from even five years ago. The camera's are lighter and the casings are much thinner, but I still feel that they are quite durable and that this camera will last me at least a few years. Battery Life The battery life is not the best. I wish it would last a little longer. When you keep it running continuously for video or lots of consecutive photo's the battery does drain rather quickly. Portability It is very compact and can easily be taken in a purse or pocket.

This camera does a nice job of taking clear shots. It has a range of different modes (including portrait, snowy scenes, and fisheye), or you can set it on automatic to let the camera choose the best option. This method, though, does not always result in great shots. Image Quality The image quality is very good when the lighting is excellent. In lower-light situations, some photos come out dull and/or grainy. Performance Shots are taken quickly. The review function is smooth and easy to use. The main controls are located in obvious places and work perfectly. Ease of Use This camera did not come with a full manual. Instead, it included just a brief "starter" sheet. To get the actual manual, I'm supposed to go online and download. Not gonna happen! So I began to use it through trial and error. The power button, zoom, and review features are all very easy to find and operate. I had somewhat more trouble figuring out how to erase pictures and change the camera's modes (say, from fisheye to "miniature" effect). Durability I haven't owned this model for very long, but it seems to be put together well. Battery Life Battery life is neither terrible nor great. If you intend to take a lot of photos during one outing (a couple hundred or more), you should buy a replacement battery and carry it with you. Portability The camera is very small. I easily tucked it inside my front jeans pocket.

I have the Canon PowerShot ELPH 110 HS digital camera and I love it. After reading a lot of reviews, all of the bad reviews stated that the video recording zoom made loud noises, but it seemed those were manufactured in China. I was lucky enough to have a model made in Japan and it does not have this issue. The camera is very compact (about the size of a credit card in length and width) and has many nice features. Although I have a smartphone to take everyday pictures, I take this camera with me anytime I go on a trip or something of that nature. The battery life lasts a very long time and I haven't found it necessary to invest in an additional one. For the price and being a point-and-shoot, it is a great buy.

We're not professional photographers by any means, but we are consistently pleased with the quality of images we get with this camera. Image Quality While we're not photographers and all of our photos aren't fabulous... The shots that we have lined up correctly have been fantastic. Performance We believe the performance has been great. We recommend this camera to friends looking for something basic but still high quality. Ease of Use Great. I'm not technically savvy, really, but I have no issues navigating the options of this camera. Durability So far so good. It's survived toddlers "playing" with it and hasn't been damaged, so we believe it's fairly durable. Battery Life Battery still stays charged a long time and is good for many shots. Great quality here. Portability Very small and portable, Easy to take on trips and not weigh you down with size.

A reliable digital camera is a necessity in my book. I love taking pictures, especially on occasions gathering with friends and family (birthdays, parties, dinners, etc.) and for all the extensive traveling that I do around the world. This camera is small enough for me to carry in my pocket but sturdy enough to withstand some bumps along the way. The screen in the pack for easy shots is clear and large enough to easily snap pictures quickly. I normally rely on the automatic setting for the majority of my picture-taking but there are a lot of options for the professional photographer. Sometimes, I'll adjust it to zoom in on small objects but I can count on the Auto setting to choose the perfect settings for me. The battery lasts quite a while for me, especially because I make it a habit of removing it when the camera is not in use for a long time (leaving it in will drain it and require a recharge). Video shots are also very clear though I have a separate video camera that I use for most videos.

I have had cameras before and after this one but nothing compares. This camera shot the best and clearest photos. The rechargeable battery was super convenient. The options were many and varied but super easy and not confusing at all. The compact size is nice and portable for pocket, purse or handheld. It's not heavy or uncomfortable in hand. I've often referred friends and family to this brand at least but this camera specifically. Image Quality Crisp and high quality Battery Life The camera didnt need to be charged often. I love the battery pack instead of other options out there. Portability Can easily tote in my purse or pocket while added weight.

This is my 3rd Cannon camera and my favorite of them all! The size is PERFECT! Perfect size to slip into your pocket or carry in your purse! This camera is quick and takes wonderful pictures. The auto-focus is accurate and the battery lasts a long time! This camera seems very sturdy and durable. The ONLY complaint I have is that the colors don't show up as good as I would like. That can of course be corrected with photo editing software (my iPhone 4S camera has better COLOR quality). But overall this a wonderful camera and worth the price! Image Quality wish the colors showed up brighter/deeper

I've had this camera for a few years now. I picked it up to replace my original Canon powershot that I had for 4 years. I love these little cameras. The battery life is great, they're so portable and easy to use with a video recording function too. Quality is good too (depending on your settings). I've gotten some really great shots that rival my fiancee's digital DSL camera results. The best part about this little camera is that it's sturdy. It's been through a lot and keeps on ticking.
