Boiron Calendula Gel is perfect for small cuts and scrapes!

By

Comments about Boiron Calendula Gel 1.5 fl oz:

I've been using Boiron's Calendula Gel for years for minor cuts and scrapes. I have a tendency to get paper cuts and hangnails and this product really heals them up super fast (and gets rid of the stinging). It works way better than Neosporin and those other pharmaceutical-type of ointments. Boiron also makes it in a lotion form (which I once used to great success when the skin on my hands got all nasty from a home tiling & grout project I did - healed completely within 4 days) and an ointment form (which is great for minor burns - another issue I've had with my oven). The other thing I love about this is that a little goes a long way and, because it's homeopathic, it doesn't have a lot of nasty chemicals.

Fantastic product that heals w/out discomfort

Comments about Boiron Calendula Gel 1.5 fl oz:

Boiron's Calendula Gel is an amazing product.  It can be used for burns, bites, stings, scratches, scrapes, etc.  My daughters have even found that if it is placed on a blemish that is just forming before going to bed, it will draw it out by morning.

Everyone in my family uses it.  My youngest has always asked for it because it doesn't sting when it is applied.  Quite the contrary - it is cooling and soothing from the moment of application.  Pain subsides very quickly after it is applied.  Healing time seems to be more than doubled for our family when it is used - even healing my own problem skin irritations when other Rx products would not much to my delight and dismay.

One of the nice things about this Gel is that it is absorbed quickly rather than sitting on top of the skin.  This means that the healing ingredients are taking in to the skin where they can stimulate the body's natural healing ability.  It is not at all greasy feeling either and has only a slight smel, though most of my family says they can't smell it at all, which dissipates very quickly.

The other reviewer mentioned that this is expensive.  I don't think it's any more expensive than similar products since you should only use a very small amount.  Because it absorbs into the skin, we don't worry about washing it off like with the other products.  In fact, our family has found that the Calendula Gel lasts longer than another leading brand that we used to buy years ago.  With a little searching on the web, it can be found for a decent price through stores like VC or VS.

If you're considering a more natural product for use on scrapes, burns, and scratches, give Boiron's Calendula Gel a try.  You won't be disappointed.

Comments about Boiron Calendula Gel 1.5 fl oz:

I really love the Boiron Calendula Gel This is a very non- greasy gel that I use on my childrens cuts and scrapes. One of the great things about Boirons Calendula gel is that it contains very natural ingrediants.i dont like most first aid creams and the like because when you read the ingrediants they have a bunch of stuff in them that you have no idea if its truly safe for your little ones.I worry that these other creams may have dangerous stuff in them that may be absorbed threw my child's skin with the Boiron Calendula gel you dont have to worry about that. I would recommend this gel to anyone with children. It works really well it will heal a cut almost entirely in two days and it dosent sting or burn when you apply it to a cut.I dont think this is the cheapest first aid type cream on the market but It is definatley the best one I have ever used.I guess I can say you get what you pay for. I give it five stars.
