My boyfriend and I have different ideas of a perfect mattress. He has back problems and always heard that a firm mattress worked well. I on the other hand always loved pillow top mattresses, or really anything that was soft. So we went in search for something that would make us both happy. Many people recommended a tempurpedic. However, we definitely we're not going to be able to spurge on such an expensive mattress. So we went to Bob's figuring it has nice furniture for great prices! When we saw the Bobopedic, it seemed like the perfect solution. The mattress never really formed to our bodies though and remains tough. We had to buy an additional memory foam to place on top of our mattress because it was still so firm after 3 years. But on the plus side, I never feel my boyfriend rolling around in bed. We actually did the test of placing a wine glass on the mattress and jumped and it didn't spill!

I love my Bobopedic! This is my second one because my first one tore on the side, but it was quickly replaced with my warranty. The only thing I worry about is that the protector they provided and I have already replaced (warranty) is not good enough to protect from any spills or if my child has an accident while in our bed.

I actually bought the Bob O Pedic Lite mattress last year after viewing it in the store and comparing it to the more famous Temperpedic mattress.  The price comparison is pretty amazing as well as the quality - you truly would not know the difference unless you previous had a Temperpedic or knew a lot aout the brand, etc.  Anyways, I would highly recommend the Bob O Pedic Light mattress to those people who want a great deal on a very very soft mattress but only if they have that prefference.  From the experience of sleeping on the Bob O Pedic did I realize I much perfer a harder mattress.  This mattress was so soft and "comfort forming" that I just sank right into the bed and got stuck there.  I found myself attempting to roll over in the middle of the night to no avail but keep in mind I am a small, light female so perhaps that has a factor into how I could not get out!  I ended up falling asleep on my back one night and waking up in a lot of pain, shooting pains in my back - it turn sout I was tryign to roll and couldn't and it woke me up becasue of the pain and discomfort.  It sounds silly but this is why I only recommend it to those who know what they are getting into.  make sure you lie on the display bed for a good 5 minutes and roll around - make sure this is indeed the bed you want.  It is not a bad bed at all, it was just not for me.  Again it is very similar to Temperpedic - you would never know there was much of a difference one you get all the sheets on!  Bob has some good deals! Comfort Not my type of thing - horrible if you like/are used to harder mattresses. Great for sitting and relaxing but not for sleeping (long term laying) Actually gave me backaches. Support Too much support; I got stuck, could not move out of the "hole" my body formed and fell into. Firmness NOT firm in the slightest; falls to you body weight easily. You sink right in. Durability Can withstand a beating and the test of time fairly well.

I've had my Bob O pedic for 2 years and absolutely love it. I think if I had to do anything over again the only thing I would have done differently was not get the firm. In the store the one we tested was firm but because people are constantly trying it and laying on it, the firm wasn't really firm. When I got it at home my husband loved it but I felt it to be more like a brick since I don't like firm...lol. It took some getting use to the firm but I'm happy with it and the most comfy bed everrrrrrrrr. Don't get caught up purchasing name brand...the Bob O Pedic is less expensive and just as great.

When I saw the commercials about this compared to the big name brand I didnt believe it. I went into the showroom just to look. We were looking for a new mattress and knew we didnt want a spring one. It was either this or a sleep number type. I got there and looked around, then I found the bob o pedic lite. I sat on it, very comfy. I figured what is that, almost anything feels good if you sit on it for 2 minutes. I'm a stomach sleeper so I laid on it, for a full 10 minutes as I would if I was sleeping. It was very comfortable. Then i got up, it amazed me how the mattress just went right back the way it was. It's that tempur material! My husband is a large man, very tall. He laid on it and he too loved how it felt. It's not overly soft or hard. Right in the middle. The best part is that its' alot more affordable then the actual brand name of the same type. We've had this almost 2 years now and its just as comfortable now as when we first got it. I will be buying them again for each of my children.
