We purchased this Black & Decker coffee maker after our old coffee maker quit. We didn't have much money and decided to purchase an inexpensive coffee maker to get us through a year. That was three years ago. We decided on the Black & Decker coffee maker because we had had good luck with Black & Decker kitchen appliances in the past. We have a Black & Decker rice cooker that is four years old and works just fine. This is an extremely basic and easy to use coffee maker. We use regular drip coffee and make about three pots of coffee a day (a little more in the winter time). The water level is easy to see. We don't spill, over fill or under fill the water reservoir when adding water. The coffee basket is easy to remove and clean. The top opens and the basket lifts straight up. It makes a pot of coffee in just a few minutes and the coffee is hot. The only drawback we have found with this coffee maker is the color. Over time, the white has permanent coffee stains. We would recommend purchasing the black model.

This is a great coffeemaker but small output. I drink large mugs of coffee so this model is small for that purpose if I plan on sharing the pot with anyone else. It brews fine ground expresso coffee fantistic and you get the full expresso flavor and no bitter aftertaste. The pot produces hot steaming coffee and brew area holds back all but the most minimal powder from even the finest expresso grounds from the pot. The brewing time is average and the pot size small but the percfect pick for a large mug of coffee and a top off for a single person. A great value since it often oes on sale at various outlets and stores. perfect for college dorms and small wet bar areas. Design 5 cups of 4 OZ COFFEE NOT 6 OZ! really brews 2 REAL coffee mugs of coffee. But works well enough to take the time to brew a second pot.

This coffee maker is a very standard, average coffee maker. It does a great job of making a smaller amount of coffee but just doesn't have any of the bells and whistles. It has an indicator on the side for water level and is easy to use. It brews well and the pot is very easy to clean. We have not had any trouble with our coffee maker, but do not use it on a regular basis either. We only use it around holidays or when we have guests over. It seems durable, but with continued repeated use it probalby would not hold up as well as bigger makers with more bells and whistles. For the price it is a good coffee maker if you don't use it every day. Brew Performance Brews coffee well and keeps it warm too. Ease of Cleaning Super easy to clean the pot. Ease of Use Very basic, simple coffee maker. Design No bells and whistles, just your basic coffee pot.
