I LOVE Bio-Spot Flea and Tick Control.  I like the citrysy smell and even more, I love the price.  At least I like the price when purchased from ValletVet.com.  Especially when you catch it on sale.  You can sign up online for a ValleyVet.com newsletter which will tell of all their products on...

Quick View: This spot treatment for fleas simply doesn't work for my little Jack Russell Terrier. He's biting and scratching himself raw - possibly worse than before I applied the Bio-Spot. It's back to Advantage for us!

In an act of consumer outrage over the increasingly ridiculous prices charged for Flea and Tick preventatives I purchased some Bio Spot Spot On several months ago. At about $12-$13 for a 3 month supply (contrasted to $45-$95 for others), I thought "good deal".

Just when did Flea and Tick Control become the money pot product it's obviously become? But I digress.

So monthly I applied Bio Spot to our Miniature Schnauzer, Brandy and fleas and ticks did tend to stay away. I did notice that Brandy wasn't thrilled with the treatment and would lose her appetite for the rest of the day. But then, I feel the...

Hi, everyone,
I just wanted to inform everyone who reads this, to please becareful with this flea/tick medcation. I recenly tried Biospot because of the awful prices of most flea/tick medcations. I thought wow, this seems like it could work and its a really great price.
Boy, was I wrong. My 2 yr old chihuahua almost died from a allergic reaction from it. He was a healthy dog prior with no allergies and a clean bill of health. I also put on my other chihuahua( she has always been healthy as well) she has lost her spunky personality and is not the same. When I called the company up I was getting...

I purchased bio spot for my cat after seeing a couple fleas on her the next day after treating her with bio spot i woke to a ill lethargic cat. I called my vet later that day and they told me to get her there as soon as possible so i had to call off work and bring her a hour away to my vet who informed me that they have seen many of these cases and sometimes the pets don't make it and if your cat is experiencing  seizures they have more of a chance of not making it. my cat is having to stay at the vet tell she is better. make sure you are more informed then i was before puchsing bio spot or any...

I bought this from Drs Foster and Smith.  It is a good product for the price, but I don't think I would buy it again.  I prefer K9 Advantix.  My golden retriever spends alot of time outside, especially in the woods.  When we used BioSpot I must have pulled at least 10 ticks off her.  Some were imbedded, some on her fur.  This year we used K9 Advantix (also from Drs Foster and Smith - best prices, great service).  I didn't see one tick on her all year.  Biospot did work well for fleas, though.

What ever you do do not buy this product. I have a schnauzer that is like one of my children. When we tried to save money on this product that I purchased from my favorite website Dr Foster and Smith we had a terrible time with it. It caused her to stop eatting and start biting on herself. Some of her hair fell out and and she ran from me after putting it on her like I had burnt her. We had to bath her and spend time at the vet to get her better. Never ever put this on your beloved pet.

We bought this for our lab mix and it doesn't work.  Our dog is given a bath every week and for the most part is an indoor dog and she is scratching all over from fleas and we have even picked ticks off of her.

If you do decide to try it hold onto your receipt.  I called the 800 number and once I send in the receipt I will be given a full refund.  They do offer a money back gaurantee but they don't advertise it.

I wasted my money on Bio Spot and used it to treat a flea infestation. I have cats, dogs, ferrets, and a rabit. I used Bio Spot on the dogs and cats and then bought and used home and yard treatments. I used the Bio Spot for two months, along with flea bombs and sprays for the home and yard sprays. The Bio Spot didn't work AT ALL! Since the Bio Spot didn't work, I ended up having to bomb the house and yard more often, as well. Obviously, you can't just treat the animals without treating the home and yard but if your animals' treatment is ineffective, your other topical treatments are doomed,... review »

Please please please do not use this product (BIO-SPOT).  I purchased this product to use on my cat and dog this past Friday.  After initial appliction to my 7 yr old Golden Retreiver Sasha she started to act very strange within 2 hours.  She would get up scurry across the room and fall to the ground.  She kept doing this for the next several hours.  At 4:30a Saturday morning I threw her in the shower and scrubbed her with soap and water to get this off of her skin.  I was hoping by the time I woke up she would be back to normal.  To my disappointment, Sasha was still the same.  She would...

This product simply didn't perform as advertised.  The flea protection was minimal at best, lasting only a week or so.  We live in the country and most of our dogs are outside all the time in good weather and are constantly exposed to fleas and ticks.  Maybe it would work for a dog that's inside most of time, but for us it was a waste of money.   We use Frontline now and it works great.

I used FrontLine always until I received a sample of Bio Spot. Absolute garbage. It burned my dog's skin within one minute. I then spent the next 30 minutes trying to get as much off him as possible and then applying Neosporin to soothe the burn. My mastiff is has never had adverse reactions to any medications or treatments until Bio Spot.

I immediately had to bathe my dog after using this product.  His skin turned bright red and he started whining.  He really had a bad reaction to Bio Spot.  My vet said that although it is a good product, some dogs cannot tolerate it.  I would check with your vet before applying this to your dog.

I love biospot and haven't had any problems with the product. I use the product on my dogs and I see no fleas. It works just as well as the more expensive brands.

My mom fosters cats for a local animal shelter in addition to having a few of her own and, as one might expect, fleas have become a problem. With six foster kittens and flea treatments being so expensive, my mom purchased Bio Spot Flea & Tick Spray for Cats. It indicates it is safe for use on kittens, enough so that the directions say to wrap the kitten with this product on it in a towel for five to ten minutes. The label does say that "sensitivity" may occur. All of the kittens disliked the treatment. One has suffered horribly. This particular kitten was the biggest, healthiest, rowdiest guy out...
