Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy is one of the makeup items I always keep on hand. Whenever I see the start of a blemish, I apply this product on my blemish. It helps prevent the blemish from becoming worse, and it actually helps the blemish clear up more quickly. This also really helps eliminate the redness on any blemishes. Once you put this product on your skin, you can put makeup on right over this product. This comes in a small, round container. I typically use a small bare escentuals brush to apply it, but you can also use your finger. You just tap a little bit of the powder product onto your blemish. You don't really have to blend it in if you plan to put makeup on over the powder. This does not have a very good scent, but that's understandable since it is actually sulfur. It is not so bad that it keeps me from using the blemish therapy. Another reason I like Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals is because the products are natural. This is very important to me to use natural skincare, so I will continue to use this product even though it is a little expensive. I think it is well worth the cost. Effectiveness This helps shorten the time of breakouts, and it takes away the red-ness from blemishes. Ease of Application This is very easy to apply. It is a powder consistency. I just put a small amount onto a brush and tap it over the blemish. You can blend it in if you put too much on your face, but you don't have to worry about blending it if you plan to put makeup on over top the product. Convenience I normally carry this container along with me in my purse. It is very convenient, and the container doesn't spill out the powder. Side Effects I have sensitive skin, and I have no negative side effects from this product.

I was very excited to try Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy once I saw it advertised on QVC. Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy was said to cover acne and also help cure it. The Minerals Blemish Therapy did not cover up or help cure my acne at all! In fact it actually made it stand out more, because instead of covering a spot like a foundation would it did not blend with my skin. It also made my skin look very chalky. Effectiveness The Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy did not work on my skin at all. It did not conceal acne or red marks, and it did not clear my skin. Ease of Application It was very easy to apply, you would just dab the brush on the area you wanted to cover. Convenience It was very convenient. Applying foundation takes a lot more time and effort. Side Effects The Bare Escentuals Rare Minerals Blemish Therapy is supposed to help clear up acne, instead it caused me to get more acne. Immediacy It did not work for me at all. It actually made things worse.
