Most HelpfulI clean houses for a living. I have used all kinds of mops over the last five years. A regular mop leaves a chemical residue behind dulling the floor. The shark steam mop left them truly clean, no residue, no germs, no dirt. The floors even felt better when walked on barefooted. I also liked the fact...

Most HelpfulI wanted to strangle my husband when yet another infomercial item arrived on my door step Since he was at work, I decided to open the box to see what he had ordered this time. I could tell it was some kind of floor machine, and looked simple enough to put together,so I thought I'd try that before he got home. I was right - super simple assembly! When I read th direcions & it said steam in less than 30 seconds, I - the all time pessimist and disbeliever - had to prove that was false. :Lo & behold, there was steam in less than 30 seconds! So of course I had to try it out. My kitchen...
review »We have tile through-out the house with three dogs (two "monster" dogs and a bitty one) and four kids. I have had four hand surgeries so pushing a mop around always hurts... my floors were always dirty. I can complain and moan and groan, but you know kids... even if they did try to help it would be a crappy job. I was going to buy a Hoover floor cleaner (can't remember exact name) that cost about $150. I saw this at Target and put down the Hoover. I remembered the infomercial that I had seen and thought "what the hell". I have never been happier! I can clean my entire house in about half an hour....
review »I realize factory reconditioned is supposed to be as good as a new one, but when I pay a new price for something and it breaks on the third use, I expect a new one to replace it. After all, factory reconditioned units are cheaper on most things, so had I wanted that, I would have paid less in the first place.
The Shark Steam Mop Pro is a wonderful cleaning machine, I fell in love with it the first use. I have ceramic tile in kitchen and dining rooms, and in both bathrooms. It doesn't get down in the grout as well as I'd like, but I found that a quick rub with a cloth after steaming takes care...
review »I am amazed with the Shark Steam Mop! This product does exactly what it claims to do. I had purchased a floor cleaner some time ago (I will not mention the brand) that after the first couple of cleanings merely started to push the dirt around on my kitchen floor. That made me very unhappy. I started using my broom and mop again to clean. Imagine my horror!
When I saw the infommercial on the Shark Steam Mop, I could not quit watching it. I actually sat through the whole thing and stayed awake to do so. I was so impressed by this machine that I saved the website on my computer for...
review »I was very surprised at how well the Shark steam mop performed. I had previously used the H20 and threw it in the trash. I swore off steam mops after using the H20 It was so horrific. I was talked into trying a friends Shark mop and I really enjoyed using it. I have pets and I like to keep the floors clean and dragging the mop bucket around a couple times a week really hurts my back. The Shark does a great job and it doesn't leave tons of water behind which was my previous experience with the H20. I also really like the pad design and attachment which was a stark comparison to my experience with...
review »Living in a home filled with many dogs creates quite a challenging feat when it comes to floor care! I purchased the shark steam mop with much reluctancy but can honestly testify to its merits. I have been successful when following these steps:
1. Thoroughly sweep and vacuum floors first as the mop will not pick up loose dirt easily.
2. Use the theory of clean to dirty first, will eliminate the streaking.
3. Especially great on ceramic/slate tile.
4. Still undecided on laminate as have used x 5 and the shine is still not there. I was told that the years of chemical usage will take time...
review »I cannot write a review! My son ordered me a Shark Steam Mop back in April, for my birthday, and it was never received. It was to be a surprise for me but he had to tell me about it because I didn't get a birthday gift from him. Both he and I have written and emailed the company, showing proof that the mop was paid for, but to no avail. My son is on SSI. The $120.00 he sent in as payment for the mop was a good deal of money for him. You don't get much from SSI. I will NEVER buy from this company and my friends and family will know about this situation, too.
