I have been using this product for years and it is the only drugstore foundation that does not go on oily or make you oily throughout the day. The colors stay the same from the moment you apply, to the moment you take it off. This foundation can be used for sheer coverage or full coverage. I have acne scars, an uneven skin tone, and some blemishes and this product easily covers imperfections amazingly. I have tried and tested many other foundations before and have not found one better than this and at such a decent price. Even after trying new foundations, I always go back to Almay Clear Complexion Foundation. Another thing I like about this foundation is that it has Blemish Heal technology. So, instead of just covering up, you are also treating blemishes at the same time. There are many colors to choose from and if needed it would be easy to customize a color. I found the perfect color for my skintone because the color it shows up in the bottle is exactly the color it would appear on your skin. Seriously, my favorite foundation.

This broke me out in pimples that were under the skin all over my cheeks and mouth area. They were very painful and took a long time to heal. They were very red and left very dark marks afterward and I am afraid that they will scar long-term. This foundation is very thick and is hard to make look somewhat natural. It is cakey if I use my hands even with a ton of blending. Using a damp cosmetic sponge made it wearable but still not to my preference. It was very uncomfortable and felt like I was wearing a mask. Throughout the day it also started to make my skin itchy, especially on my cheeks. It was not extreme, but it was definitely distracting and really hard to refrain from scratching it. It covered acne moderately well but bigger ones were still out there. It lasted quite a long time, but I had to touch up on acne spots. I could not find a color to match my skin exactly and had to go with one slightly darker.

I use to work at the makeup counter at macy's. You could definitely say I am extremely knowledgeable when it comes to makeup brands. Almay does make some really great different formulas. However, Almay Clear Complexion Makeup is not one of my favorite foundations. It is somewhat expensive for the bottle and it is available at most mass merchandisers and superstores. The Almay Clear Complexion liquid foundation does not do a very good job as a full coverage foundation. It is somewhat runny and it has a kind of weird baby powder smell to it that I found really irritating. It did not cover blemishes or spots very well at all and the foundation will end up trapped and emphasizing wrinkles with an overall streaky finish that did not even come close to matching my skin tone. I was honestly extremely disappointed with my purchase and I will not be buying Almay Clear Complexion Makeup ever again!

I sometimes breakout with certain foundations because some of them are too heavy and they clog my pores. I seen this Almay Clear Complexion foundation and I was curious to try it out. It worked amazing on my face making it look really soft and it blended in well with my skin tone. It went on smoothly and it was very lightweight to my face, it didn't feel too heavy at all. It gave me good coverage and it covered a lot of my imperfections. It covered my dark circles and my acne scars. I noticed it didn't leave my face feeling oily and it started to clear my breakouts. Its great because I wasn't even getting anymore pimples, its like this makeup prevented it from coming. I will definitely buy this foundation again, it was affordable and it lasted me a long time. I recommend this to anybody who has breakouts or if you want great coverage without feeling like you have a mask on.

Almay Clear Complexion Makeup is really just so-so, and not overly impressive. For a cheap, inexpensive foundation, there isn't really anything that wrong with this formula: it just isn't that great either. After figuring out I had extremely sensitive skin, I tried almost all of Almay's foundations in my search for a foundation that didn't irritate my skin and would give me the coverage and look that I wanted. While this one didn't make my skin that irritated, as I remember, I didn't end up staying with it either because it didn't quite give me what I wanted. It didn't blend into your skin quite as well as Almay Pure Blends foundation did, but it also didn't have problems with being too greasy (unlike that other foundation). If you're looking for something affordable and aren't expecting too much, give this foundation a try but don't expect too much. Overall, it isn't horrible, won't irritate your skin or dry it out, and it won't make you look too greasy either.

The foundation is just simply amazing. I used the Neutrogena foundation for years because it was the only drugstore foundation with salicylic acid that I knew of, but I was so excited when I saw this once come out from Almay. The packaging on it is great since it does have a pump and makes it easy to use and not waste product. The price point is great for a great foundation. The coverage on it is good and buildable without any caking. I did not notice any oxidation. It did not cause any more breakouts and did a good job clearing up past breakouts. This did not clog my pores at all either. I have super sensitive, oily to combination skin with old acne scars and some discoloration. This foundation covers all of it and evens out my complexion. The feel of the foundation is great and not heavy at all. It wears great throughout the day, but I don't keep foundation on my face for longer than 8 hours so I don't know how it looks past that. I wouldn't say the finish is completely matte and it wasn't overly drying, but it def is not dewy. Would recommend to anyone!!

This foundation is soft and creamy and goes on just like lotion. It gives your skin the right amount of toning it needs and helps to even out your skin tone. This clear complexion make up makes it so easy to cover up blemishes and pimples easily and leaves your skin looking like a porcelain doll. Luckily this product does not leave your skin looking blotchy like other competing products do. This foundation is effective and does what it is needed to do, by also helping to hydrate skin in the correct way and not clog up pores. This foundation comes in an easy to use bottle and has a pump lid to pump and pr dispense just the right amount of foundation right on to your finger tips. It blends well and stays on skin for long periods of time. It gives your skin just the right amount of shine without making your face look greasy, it gives it a nice appeal to it. I recommend this product for any skin type.

This product goes on smoothly. It has no harsh lines and matches skin complexions greatly. It does all that is says it will do. It covers all my blemishes and then some. It makes my skin look as good as new. It doesn't break me out or cause any rashes. This a great product.

Pros; This foundation does not clog pores and I had no trouble getting it to lay smoothly on my skin without any spots were it felt thicker than other areas and my skin felt refreshed rather than drowned under the weight of the foundation. It was thin enough that it went over my dry spots without trouble and over my oily spots without smearing.. The cons; It was almost too light to do much good; it doesn't even skintones for me or do anything about the dark undereye circles I have some problems with. I also got a little sunburn with this product so I think it actually made my skin more sensitive than normal. It went on sticky and took longer than I expected to dry; I had to wear powder over it because even when it was dry there was a hint of stickiness to it still for me. And it didn't last all day, it was too thin and wore off about halfway through the day so the coverage wasn't strong enough to hold up.

This liquid foundation is great. I was a powder foundation girl for many years until I started getting horrible breakouts and needed extra coverage. My acne has calmed down since then, but I still love this product. This has been one of the few foundations that hasn't caused me to break out. I've tried others and usually come back to this foundation. It doesn't look cakey and it stays on for a pretty long time. It also pairs well with their clear complexion concealer. For me, the only downside is the color selection. I have a darker, more olive skin tone, and sometimes in the summer even the darkest foundation color available is not dark enough. When this happens, I generally still use this foundation and just mix it with a darker makeup (which is generally too dark for my skin). I've tried to find a replacement for this and haven't really been able to, so I guess I'll stick with it!
