I have tried several different dish liquids over the years and there are some I really like and there are some that are just okay. Ajax Dish Liquid With Bleach Alternative, Ruby Red Grapefruit is just okay in my opinion. I find myself using a lot more of this product when I wash my dishes. I feel like this product doesn't really make bubbles in my water like other brand dish liquid cleaning products. Even though this product has added bleach, I don't think my dishes are any cleaner if this feature wasn't added. Overall I have found that this product is not something I would use often. It did not meet my expectations when it comes to giving my dishes a thorough cleaning. I have to use more of this product than I would like to in order to get my dishes clean. I feel that I am wasting money when I have to pour a lot of this dish liquid into my water in order to make bubbles form in my water.

This product is an overall good product. I buy this product often. It is a good brand to buy when the budget is tight. This product is very inexpensive and is an especially good bargain when I can find coupons. This dish washing soap is effective in getting dishes clean. I especially like the fact that the bleach alternative is added. This makes me feel better about killing germs, especially during the cold and flu seasons. This product is really good at cutting grease when I have pots and pans to wash. The only negative thing I can say about this dish soap is if you have a lot of dishes it doesn't hold suds for very long. I have often found the need to add more soap during the process of washing a bigger load of dirty dishes. I have also found this soap is good for soaking items for easier cleaning later. This scent of Ruby Red Grapefruit is a different scent in which I find to be a very pleasant scent.

I went to the local pharmacy to pick up my prescription medication, and I saw that Ajax Dish Liquid with Bleach Alternative, Ruby Red Grapefruit was on sale for only 88 cents.It is very important to me that the dish detergent I use to clean the dishes smells good, so I opened the bottle right in the store and smelled it to see what it smells like. It smelled wonderful so i decided to buy a few that day. When I began using it to wash the dishes that night after dinner, I was very disappointed in Ajax Dish Liquid with Bleach Alternative, Ruby Red Grapefruit. The soap poured out of the bottle so easily that it seemed like I was pouring water. I put it on a wet sponge and rubbed it with my fingers as hard as I can but no foam was coming out. I had to pour a lot more of the soap for me to see some foam on the sponge. I began scrubbing the dishes with it and nothing was getting clean. It was absolutely one of the worst detergents I ever used. The only dishes it cleaned were the cups we used to drink from that night. I am unable to use Ajax Dish Liquid with Bleach Alternative, Ruby Red Grapefruit for any of the larger dishes such as the pots that I cooked in, but I can use them to get a good clean on glass cups. Ajax Dish Liquid with Bleach Alternative, Ruby Red Grapefruit is not something I will ever be using it again, even if it was given away for free.

I use Ajax dishsoap in my household and I absolutely love it! I love the grapefruit scent. I can wash dishes all day long and it won't leave streaks on my glasses. The only thing I do not like about Ajax is that it takes a lot of soap to get suds going and lasting throughout your dishwashing

One of several products it makes is **Ajax Dish Liquid Ruby Red Grapefruit.** **Dish Liquid Facts and Commentary:** Ajax Dish Liquid Ruby Red Grapefruit is a fruit- enhanced dish washing liquid with the scent of grapefruit and soap. The liquid is the same color as a red grapefruit and it is also slightly thicker than the average dish liquid. Ajax Dish Liquid Ruby Red Grapefruit isn't a concentrated dish liquid, but it takes only a small amount to produce a good deal of lather. The product performs well at washing dishes and even though it is not abrasive in any way, it performs like it is, scrubbing away stains and baked- on food with relative ease. This product has an interesting smell and its cleaning ability is above average, but one small fault is its inability to eliminate grease as effectively as other brands. Maybe I have become too spoiled by Dawn and other brands, but I expect my dish liquid to eliminate a good deal of grease with minimal effort. The performance of this product is a little below average in the grease- fighting department. **My Bottom Line:** If inexpensive dish liquid is what you want, Ajax Dish Liquid Ruby Red Grapefruit is a good choice. Ajax has some good and bad qualities that I like about it. I love the scents that Ajax offers; they make doing dishes more enjoyable when the smell of the dish soap is desirable. However, Ajax dish soap does not seem to take off grease or baked-on food as well as other dish soaps that I have tried. Also, the suds seem to disappear fairly quickly while I am washing my dishes. This soap is easy on my hands though. I do not get really dried out skin from doing dishes which is nice. It is not abrasive either. The price tag for Ajax dish soaps is right in my price range! I love that it is a pretty good soap for a cheap price! If I have to use a little extra detergent, I don't mind because I did not pay a lot for the soap. Also, there are many coupons that I find for Ajax that makes the dish soap even cheaper. The soap does a fairly good job at taking off food though, as long as it isn't baked on and left sitting for a while before washing. Then, I still have to soak my dishes for a while.

I just keep going back to this dish soap, I don't know why I even bother trying other ones. We are probably one of the few people left on the planet that do not own a dishwasher and from a family that cooks almost everynight with tons of dirty dishes to wash, I can truly say that this soap works! It gets nice and sudsy and the suds last through the whole wash. It cuts through grease great and leaves all my dishes clean. Plus, I really like the grapefruit smell and the added bleach. Great value for the money!

All of us know that dishwashing is not on the top of our things to do for fun list, so any thing to make it quicker and better is good. While I must confess that Original Dawn is my #1 choice for dishes, it is getting harder and harder to find. I had run completely out of dishwashing liquid and had dishes to do. Of course you would know that they were out of Dawn Original and I had to wash dishes. Thankfully, Ajax Ruby Red Grapefruit Dish Liquid was on sale at the store for 97 cents. Curious about the ruby red, I decided 97 cent was a great try me price. I was totally impressed with this dish liquid. While I did use a little more than I normally would the first time I used it - I found that the Ajax Ruby Red Grapefruit Dish Liquid did a good job on my dishes. I was also impressed with it's grease cutting abilities. I also like the scent of this. While my purchase and trying of this product was a total fluke, I will admit they got my attention - I went and bought a couple more!

I love the smell of grapefruit, and really that is what keeps me buying this product over and over....but when it comes to cleaning my dishes I would have to say that it is just okay and never really wows me.  I does not seems to quite attack the grease and oils as it should and my dishes are often left with residue and needing to be recleaned, which does not make me too happy.  Sometimes when I am done with my dishes it does not look like there was any soap put in the water in the first place.  I also feel like I have to use a lot more soap to get it to work they way it should so I go through it a lot faster. One other positive note is that is very affordable and is often on sale making it a practical choice for a tight budget. If the cleaning quality was as great as the smell then this would be a force to be reckoned with, but since it is not, it makes it just an okay choice that works, just not great.
