Lasts forever

Comments about Adventure Buggy Company Twin Buggy Stroller:

I've had this stroller for about six years. The fabric on mine doesn't look exactly like the photo; I assume that's because it's an older stroller. I imagine I'll be using this stroller until I no longer have use for one. I might even be able to pass it down to one of my daughters for her kids someday, if she'll have it. I doubt it will get worn out before then.

This stroller is fairly easy to push and is nice to take on long outings to the zoo or shopping. It seems to be pretty comfy for the kids. Older toddlers or preschoolers like the bar, because they can lean forward in the seat without being concerned they'll fall out. The basket on the bottom holds quite a bit, and I never have to worry about tipping the stroller when I put bags over the handlebar.

There are a few things I don't like, too. There are a couple safety issues. One is that the wheel lock can slam down without warning. If little fingers were in the wrong place at the wrong time, I truly wonder whether it could break bones. I just try to be careful with this by keeping the kids away from the back, and I lock the wheels anytime we'll be stopped for more than a minute. Maybe this issue has been fixed with newer strollers.

I also don't love folding it. Sometimes I get it just right and it only takes me a moment; other times I'm fumbling around with it for fifteen minutes before I can manage it. It's definitely not a one-handed operation!

Solid, well built...the Hummer of double strollers

By

Comments about Adventure Buggy Company Twin Buggy Stroller:

With my Phil & Teds e3 having finally bit the dust after many, many, many miles of use it was time to replace it. It took me 6 months to decide what to replace it with and this was the winner. I was looking for something that was easy to push, side-by-side yet narrow enough to fit through a standard door, folded compact & easy enough to get it in and out of my vehicle and had the possibility to attach a toddler seat. After debating back and forth between this and a Mountain Buggy Urban Double I finally took the plunge and went with the ABC. I've not regretted it since.I use this stroller for everything!! Exercise class, walks in the neighborhood, trips to the mall and have taken it to the zoo as well. There is so much storage space it's crazy. All of my kids fit in the seats...even my 7 year old...though he does look a bit smooshed. It pushes easily even with nearly 90lbs of kids in it between my 5 & 7 year old boys. It's very easy to fold, and while heavy & cumbersome, it's do-able to get it in & out of the backend of my Suburban. All of my kids like riding in it and I like pushing it.There are other fabric options available but the fabrics on this one, while it was purchased used, were in pristine condition so I'm not bothering to replace them. It's been well worth my money!

Heavy, but a great stroller!

By

Comments about Adventure Buggy Company Twin Buggy Stroller:

I have three kids (3.5, 2.5 and 17 months) and bought this stroller before my 17 month old was born.  Be prepared, it takes a long time to get once you have ordered it.  International shipping aside, it takes a while for the stroller to be ready to ship.

It is a heavy, heavy stroller.  But that's due to the fact that it is build SOLID - metal, not plastics.  It has very high weight limits on all the seats (the two for the twin stroller, plus the additional infant or infant/toddler jump seat).

It folds easily, the wheels pop right off for easy storage.  It cleans very well, and has lots of space to hold whatever stuff.

This is a great stroller for a day at an amusement park, or for a long jog.

I do love this stroller!
