Ebay is my favorite online shopping site. It is easy to use, especially the auctions that take Paypal, so that you can just pay online quickly and securely and don't have to give your personal info like a credit card number or checking account number to sellers. It's easy to shop whether you're looking for something specific, or just browsing.
The selection can't be beat. Pretty much anything you can think of, and tons of stuff you never knew existed, can be found on ebay. The mindboggling selection of new and used and collectible items is just amazing. It's like a gigantic department...

Ebay is a great place to find hard to find items. I have been able to get a control knob for a 97 Taurus and a lug lock key for a Camry there in just the past few months. Cell phone accessories are usually cheaper on Ebay than other sites. I almost always get mine there.
You do need to becareful when shopping on Ebay. A few things I would recomend, 1. be sure to read the entire page before buying anything, if you have questions, contact the seller. 2. I'M WRITING ABOUT EBAY IN GENERAL. I'VE BEEN AN ACTIVE SELLER FOR 4 YEARS OR SO, BUT WITH THE COST OF FEES, IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE SOME MONEY. THEY CHARGE TO LIST AN ITEM, WHEN IT SELLS, NOT TO MENTION PAYPAL FEES. AND THECOST OF ALL THESE THINGS KEEPS GOING UP!
I KNOW THAT EBAY WANTS TO MAKE MONEY TOO- THAT'S WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT. BUT WHEN THE COST KEEPS RISING, PEOPLE WILL FIND DIFFERENT ON LINE SITES TO GO TO.

eBay has really succeeded at making their site user-friendly for novice computer users who want to be Sellers. If you can set up a PayPal account, shoot a digital camera, and figure out (or get someone to show you) how to access your photos, you're in business. Literally!

I love ebay! It's that simple. It is such an easy way to make a little extra money, and it's tax free! (shhhhhhh.....) I've been using ebay for several years now and have not had one bad experience. All my transactions go smoothly, I always get paid when I'm selling, and I always get my merchandise when I'm buying. It's also a very easy site to use, even if you're new to it.
You can find ANYTHING on ebay! I've bought event tickets, movies, gently used clothing.....you get the idea. You can find GREAT DEALS, and items that are difficult to find in the store. For instance, I looked...

Shipping fee tags, a lot of times these fees will than be added as handling charges.
It's also a good idea to become familiar with what the postal office actually charges
for certain items so you can evaluate before you bid. Media mail is the least expensive but this shipping takes the longest to arrive to your front door. Books,
cd's and dvd's can all be sent using media mail but may not come as quickly as you
