Most HelpfulA while back I wrote a glowing review about Lisa Carey's blog site, "Freebie Finds" which turned out to be a motherlode of good ideas, including something else to glow about -- Ebates.com. It sounded too good to be true at first -- an effortless way to get rebates on purchases you would make anyway -- but this really does work.
I signed up for this but didn't actually use it for a while as I have gotten so accustomed to making my online purchases through MyPoints and besides I had cut back on what I shopped for this year. As Christmas approached however, things began to pick up. As is my usual...
review »I do so much shopping online these days since I can generally find exactly what I'm looking for in a lot less time than it would take me to check out a lot of different stores. Living in Manhattan I have access to a lot of great stores, but not always in the same location since we don't have the big malls found in the suburbs. And though a bus or a subway will generally get people most places faster than driving anyway, it can waste a lot of time to have to be traipsing all over town. It can be especially frustrating to go to a place I know usually carries an item just to find out they need...
review »I've belonged to Ebates for two years and have noticed that you MUST keep a close eye on posting of rebates. There have been at least 10 occasions where a promised rebate hasn't posted. The site SAYS rebates customarily post within 3 days of placing an order, but in many cases that just isn't so. The first time I contacted Ebates about a rebate, it was several weeks after I received the order; I was told some merchants wait until a "return period" has expired. O.K., but what's the excuse for travel completed a month ago? Resolving your issues is never easy, either. After you contact Customer...
review »This site is not to be missed!
With whatever shopping you may be doing, I've just got to tell you my story about eBates.com.
It's a nifty FREE rebate site. No credit cards to register. When you join, you get $5 for as a a new account bonus (when you make your first purchase). You can also earn bonuses for referring friends.
What's it all about? Is there a catch? Here is my eBates.com story:
This site pays you Cash Back whenever you shop online (up to 25%!). It's called Ebates.com, and it has LOTS of name brand stores you'd want to shop at, including Barnes & Noble, the...
review »I'm all about online shopping and actually visited the local mall a couple of months ago for like the first time in FIVE YEARS. I buy all of my clothes, beauty products, and gifts (Christmas and birthday) online, so I was super-excited to discover Ebates.com which is a site that gives you back a percentage of what you pay when you patronize participating online merchants.
It is super-easy to utilize Ebates.com. All you do is load the site, do a search for you desired shopping site (oldnavy.com, sephora.com, etc), and then click the link which takes you through to where you want to shop. ...
review »I stumbled upon this site years ago and was surprised how easy it was to use and how easy it was to get my rebate money. Most of the sites I shop online with are listed, and if not there are always great deals at other sites.
Although, this isn't my first choice for a site to get money back for shopping online, it is one of the top three sites I use.
The site is very user friend and extremely easy to navigate.
I know there are a lot of people who haven't really gotten into the online shopping thing yet, I think it might seem kind of overwhelming to some people. This is a great way to introduce...
review »Ebates.com is the shopping website I visit most frequently. Ebates has over 800 merchant partners that pay them for their business. Ebates in turn passes savings onto us in the form of a "Big Fat Check." My first payment totaled $45.61 which I earned mostly from purchasing Christmas gifts online. I also had 2 Tell-A-Friend bonuses totaling $10.00 in that payment.
It is very easy to set up a free account and you can begin earning cash back the very same day you register. The site has a feature that allows you to save your favorite stores and coupons.
I've read complaints about Ebates...
review »I have been an ebates user for about a year now. At first I didn't pay much attention to the site after becoming a member, but once I realized how much I shop online, I started to use it more and more.
Ebates allows you to earn cash back on your online purchases. You first have to log in to your account. Then you find the retailer you want to shop at. It will take you directly to that Web site and will track your purchases. Cash back will credit to your count within 30 days. Most sites are pretty good about processing the cash back quickly. There have been times where it didn't and I had to email...
review »Ebates has tons of stores that you can shop thru them and be rewarded for a percentage of what you spend into your ebates account..Once you get to $5.00, you will be paid by Ebates when their 3 month cyle for payouts comes up. Very easy to obtain. Each store offers a certain percentage..I have seen it from 2% and as high as 10% per total amount spent..Lets say the store is offering 5%...You go let's say you decide you want to shop at JC Penney. You go from your ebates account to the link you are provided so that they can track your expenditure..so you spent let's say $100.00. $100.00x5% of that...
review »Ebates enables you to earn cash back rebates just for shopping online. I have earned quarterly checks for years by logging into Ebates and linking to my favorite online retailers. I have also learned of great free shipping and percent off offers via the Ebates site.
Ebates also has a referral program paying you $5 for each friend you refer who makes a purchase. I love making money with such little effort.
