Several months ago VPs gave me a $20 gift certificate for Amazon.com, a certificate I waited until now to redeem. Since the books I wanted weren't gifts I opted for free shipping to save money. On the one hand, I like that Amazon.com is a place where you can shop for many different items in one location, but on the other hand, I found them to be a headache. This past CHRISTmas time I had quite an experience using Amazon.com. I placed about 4 or 5 orders of toys for the children in our family, and all but one package was either late, or didn't arrive at all. I am an avid Internet shopper. If there is a cheaper price, I will find it even if it takes me all night. I am well aware that the cheapest price may come with a hefty shipping price. I shop at Amazon.com on a regular basis. I'd be pretty much lost without them. — I always shop at Amazon.com for DVDs and CDs. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. I am able to keep all the items I find in my Amazon shopping cart, for which I check on a daily basis for price decreases and increases. So i had known about Amazon.com for a couple years (Since maybe around the time it first launched). I had tried it once or twice and hated it. I started out just looking at the books but have purchased books, CD's, DVD's, Jewelry, Office Equipment, Food products, gift items, Candles, etc. Seems there is no end to what I can find on this site. — When asked by my kids for suggestions for Christmas, I stated Amazon Gift Certificate.
