Zuke's Natural Purrz is a better quality treat for cats. The first ingredient is chicken, followed by ground rice and barley. It does not contain any meat by-products. The treats are square shaped and look, feel, and smell like beef jerky, in my opinion. I have five cats and none of them will eat these treats. I ended up giving them to the feral cats that I feed every day. They did eat them. Quality of Ingredients Although these treats are made with chicken as the first ingredient, they still have some ingredients I prefer they didn't. The treats contain ground rice, ground barley, malted barley, gelatin, vegetable glycerin (what is that?) tapioca, brewer's yeast, natural flavors, fish oil, and some other non food ingredients. They are better than the treats I normally feed my cats and I was disappointed that my cats would not eat them. Flavor Selection To my knowledge these treats come in three flavors; chicken, tuna, and salmon.

Zukes Natural Purrz are great treats for your cat. It's great that Zukes is now offering cat treats because now the same great ingredients that are in the dog treats can now be found in the cat treats. The ingredients in Purrz are chicken, ground barley, ground rice, vegetable glycerin, malted barley, tapioca, gelatin, water, menhaden fish oil, brewer's yeast, natural flavors, lecithin, cultured whey, acetic acid, salt. Vitamins and Minerals: A, D3, E, B12, taurine, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) calcium pantothenate, riboflavin (B2) niacin, thiamine mononitrate (B1), pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), folic acid, zinc oxide, sodium selenite (source of selenium). Purrz are a great treat for cats even if you aren't training them to do something and you just want to reward them for being a good pet, like mine. Sometimes I put a few in his regular food so I can make it more tasty, or sometimes I just throw them on the floor and he gobbles them up. He loves them a lot and I enjoy seeing him happily gobble it up. I would recommend Zukes brand food to anyone because of the food content and the size of the treats. Plus they last a long time in a fridge!
