Very Intensive

Comments about Winsor Pilates Accelerated Body Sculpting:

This is definitely not for newbies! It's really for those who already love Mari's DVDs and workout system and want to expand their workout to include new moves and techniques.

This is a significantly longer DVD than her intro/beginner's DVD. While the beginner's video is about twenty minutes long this clocks in at nearly an hour.

While some of Mari's other DVDs are more targeted to abs or legs this is a full body workout. And you'll feel it for sure! By the end fully expect your muscles to be quivering and to be covered in sweat! While this is a more gentle workout overall (it doesn't require any jumping or anything) this is still high intensity muscle building activity.

During my time working out to Mari's DVDs I did find myself feeling longer and leaner and did have better posture. Her method offers overall toning.

Also, be advised that this is not for those of us who have tiny dorm rooms or apartments. You need quite a bit of space to be able to swing your legs and be able to do all the exercises properly.

Winsor Pilates Is A Great Overall Workout

By

Comments about Winsor Pilates Accelerated Body Sculpting:

I received the Winsor Pilates Accelerated Body Sculpting DVD from my sister-in-law and have enjoyed it. Although I'm usually a cardio girl, I have needed something less aerobic in order to keep up my breast feeding milk supply. This DVD has fit the ticket. I must admit that sheer laziness and business has kept me from using this DVD more than twice a month, but my husband and I will do this workout together for a quiet date night, or I will do a little when the kids are in bed.

The workout is challenging yet easy on the joints and muscles. Mari Winsor (the instructor) gently teaches you the different exercises and sets them up in a series. The ab workout is especially intense, and I have to work hard to finish out the series. My husband also finds this video a challenge and we will push each other to finish it.

I would be intrigued to see the other DVDs in this collection as I have found this to be a great, gentle workout for toning and flexibility.
