Having 2 babies has seemed to leave my body not quite in the same shape it was pre-baby.  Let's just say the profile still looks like I could have that baby in there.  Most people I meet say "oh you don't look like you've had 2 kids." What is it?
The 30 Day Shred With Jillian Michaels is an exercise video that, if followed, can help you lost 20 pounds in 30 days!  Jillian Michaels, best known as the tough trainer on reality show The Biggest Loser, has designed a work out that only lasts 20 minutes long and features the "3-2-1 Interval System" which mixes cardio, strength and abs for weight loss.

I have tried almost every work out DVD on the market. I have too many Billy Blanks and Taebo DVDs to count and while I love them I was looking for a work out video that included some weight lifting because I read that lifting moderate weights increases your metabolism thereby helping to increase the amount of calories burned during the day. And that increased muscle mass helps lose weight much faster when the body is at rest. I have watched Jillian Michaels on the Biggest Loser for several seasons now and was eager to see if she kicks butt for the home viewer on her DVD and boy does she deliver!... review »

A friend told me about this DVD and after watching her body begin to transform, I knew I had to have it.  Jillian offers 3 different levels of circuit training workouts.  Each one begins with a warmup and then 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs.  You repeat the circuit two additional times and end with a cool down.  It only takes 20 minutes and you definitely feel the burn of your body changing!   Each level of exercise also has 2 options.. To the Point

We now have a gym in our basement. Along with the equipment came a host of DVDs for me to workout to.  Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred is one of my favorites.

I like Jillian as a trainer and a trainer on The Biggest Loser. She battled weight issues so she knows what she is talking about.

I HATE to workout.  I'm not overweight, but love to eat and have recently decided that I should probably start working out more to stay toned and healthy.  The problem with me and working out is that I always get bored. I bought Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred on the recommendation of a friend who has been using it and looking fantastic.  I was convinced after a few days I would be bored and the DVD would soon be "lost".

I am an avid workout video user. I get bored easily and I'm always looking for a great workout dvd that will inspire and challenge me. I frequently get dvd's from Netflix to try out before I decide if one is worth the cost involved in purchasing the video. I have to tell you that every workout I've tried of Jilian's is worth it! The 30 Day Shred is just another of the many I love and have purchased for my workout dvd library!

I ordered 30 Day Shred after reading many reviews from fellow fitness buffs.  I have been doing Zumba to try and lose wieght and while it's fun, it's not a tough, burning workout that I was looking for. 
Jillian's 30 Day Shred really kicks butt.  I am 3 days in on level one and I can already see a huge difference in my endurance from the first day (where I could hardly make it through and felt sick afterward) to today where I broke a sweat and was out of breath, but got through it and felt great after!  I've already lost 2 lbs and my arms, chest, and legs are already feeling tighter.  It's...

I purchased Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred about a two weeks ago.  Wow, what a great 20 minute workout!  It definitely beats the 30-45 minute gym workouts. So if time crunch is a problem this will definitely help.   This DVD has three different  levels from beginner to fitness expert.  I started off with the beginner and have already noticed a huge difference, even without dieting.  This workout is strictly circuit training, not aerobics.  It's a very basic routine that really anyone can do.   But don't be fooled this video will really kick your butt into shape.  The workout includes...

I have to say that my favorite thing about this workout is that it is short but intense. The DVD has 3 levels beginner, intermediate and advanced.

I have only done the beginner level on it but it gave me one heck of a workout! If you cannot do high impact exercises than this may not be for you. There is a lot of jumping.
The moves are simple and not dancy so even if you are uncoordinated like me it is easy to follow.

I love that Jillian is tough and really pushes you to do your best. Another plus is that you do not need much in the way of exercise equipment to do the workout. You just need some hand...

I have been trying for sometime to find a routine that works for me. I am not really a fan of the Biggest Loser, but I have heard nothing but great results from the show, and others who watch it. I decided to pick up this DVD and give it a try. I am getting married in a couple of months now and just wanted to tone up my body a little more.

I love the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred dvd! I have to say its difficult even at the beginner stage, but well worth it. I have three children, so doing a workout that you can see results with in twenty minutes has been awesome! I now have purchased her new disc for the wii because I love her so much!

I don't even watch the Biggest Loser, but I had heard about her and thought what the heck, I will give it a try. Well it works amazingly! Definitely one for busy moms who have no time to fit in exercising!

I first found out about Jillian Michaels' exercise programs through her shows on Exercise TV (in itself a great resource - but maybe that will be another review)!   I'm not much into aerobic classes and way too cheerful, hopping around instructors, especially first thing in the morning.   Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred is everything I love about exercise and nothing that I hate about it.   She is real, she is sincere, she is definitely not the cheerleader, happy-in-your-face kind of instructor.   She is encouraging, tough, and motivating.

I first found out about Jillian Michael's exercise programs through her shows on Exercise TV.  The usual aerobic programs with the way too happy, over-eager instructors are not my thing - especially first thing in the morning.  So, with Jillian, what you get is a very real, very sincere, motivating, tough personal instructor - right in your own home, on your time schedule.   And with the 30 Day Shred programs, you don't need to fit much time into your hectic schedule - 25 minutes does it - and I mean REALLY does it.

I have to admit that I absolutely love Jillian Michaels, but even beyond that this is a great workout.  The 30 Day Shred Is not your typical, boring workout.   It starts with a good warm up, and then gives you cardio, abs, and strength.  I have read that some people think it needs more ab work, but what you have to remember is that you can do all the cruch's/ab work all you want, you will not see them until all the fat ontop of them is gone.
