Turbo Jam

Turbo Jam is a very fun and effective workout that feels like one big dance party mixed in with a little self defense training. I have own Turbo Jam for 5 years now and it never gets old or boring. Turbo Jam consist of 2 disc that contains a total of 6 workouts. Disc 1 contain workouts: Learn and Burn, 20 Minute Workout and Turbo Sculpt. Disc 2 contain workouts: Cardio Party and Ab Jam. The instructor of this workout series is Chalene Johnson. She has a great personality and is very motivational. During each workout there are cast members who workout with Chalene and every single person has benefited from doing Turbo Jam.

It took me several times of working out to get the hang out the moves which was not a problem since Chalene goes through each move with you in the Learn and Burn workout. Whenever I do these workouts I feel totally energized. It doesn't even feel like I am working out.

Overall I really like these workouts and would recommend Turbo Jam with no hesitation. The only equipment needed is one set of light hand weights for the sculpting workout.

Such a fun workout

This is such a fun workout series. Turbo Jam was created by Chalene Johnson and is extremely fun. Each routine is specifically choreographed to upbeat current music that really gets you moving. Her moves are inspired by dance and kickboxing. Chalene gives excellent timed cues and has modifiers on each routine for beginners. The routines can be done at a very high intensity or done with moderate to low intensity. If for any reason you cannot jump, you will want to do the modified movements. The modified movements will always have at least one foot on the ground at all times. The turbo jam moves have many combinations of kicking series and punching series. Once you learn the movements the exercises get more and more fun. At times it does not even feel like you are working out. Mostly it feels like you are having a party in your living room. It is more fun to turn the volume up really loud while doing these routines. At the end of each DVD Chalene has a short segment where she plays a practical joke on one of her friends. These are always fun to watch at the end of a long workout.

Turbo Jam Gets You In Shape Fast!

I have been working out to Turbo Jam for almost five years now and I still haven't gotten tired of it, even after all these years!  I first ordered it when I was trying to lose some weight and it really helped me lose some pounds and tone up.  I loved that it came with several different work-outs: the long cardio program, a short cardio program when you don't have much time and need to get a quick (but effective) work-out in, a sculpting routine that really challenges your muscles and an abdominal work-out that really gives you a nice tummy.  After I lost some weight I didn't do these work-outs as regularly but I still worked them into my routine and always got a good work-out.  After I had a baby I used Turbo Jam to get back into shape!  I love how the work-outs really work your abdominal muscles, make you sweat and are fun because they let you dance and groove to the music.  The instructor is great too!

Nothing better than Turbo Jam

So I've needed to lose 30-40 lbs. since having my last baby.  Now that I have 4 young kids, I don't have the time that I used to to make it to the gym everyday.  One day my friend loaned my the Turbo Jam workout videos.  Wow!!!  I was hooked from the beginning.  Chalene Johnson is amazing.  You can't help but enjoy every minute.  She's so fun, down to earth, just normal.  The same can be said for most of her participants on the video.  They come in all shapes and sizes, rather than just looking like perfectly fit, beyond-my-abilities, only my dreams kind of people.  I look forward to each workout, each video, and actually feel bad when I don't get at least one if not two in each day.  It does take a few times to get the moves and routines down, but it is doable.  There is always somebody moving at a slower pace, at an easier level.  So you can always start slow and move up in intensity as you're able to.  I don't love all of the music, but I can live with it because I enjoy Chalene so much.  Great investment!!!

Fun, good workout

I bought these DVD's reluctantly after watching too many infomercials on this.  After trying tons of different work out videos and becoming very easily bored with them I decided to give this one a try.  I LOVE it.  It was a hard workout but the moves, the music and the instructors enthusiasm made for an interesting workout.  My package included 6 different workouts so that I never really got that bored doing the same workout over and over again.  The moves were easy enough for anyone to do, even myself.  The pace was fast and exciting which helped the entire workout go quicker than a typical boring workout video.  My cons for this video is that you need a large amount of room to complete these exercises.  I have a toddler at home and would love to do this with her playing in the room but with the amount you kick and punch I don't fell like it was safe.  Good workout but not family friendly.

The Turbo Jam workouts are so much fun!! And they get you results!! I love that there are many different DVD's as well. I can get bored and tired of the same workouts day in and out so the fact that I can mix it up with the same instructor is great! I love Chalene's personality and she seems very real...not annoying like many other instructors. As soon as you need a little break she slows it down a little to catch your breath. I like working out in intervals and that is what Turbo Jam is about. She always says you won't even feel like you are exercising...that it is a party...and while I wouldn't go as far as to say that...it is the most fun I have working out! And the time really does move fast! I am always sore for a few days after too. I like most of the people she has working out with her too. They seem real and seem to struggle about the same time I am. Which helps me feel better. I know I am not the only one in pain! Overall, these are fun energetic routines that give good results!

Turbo Jam is the only workout that I have ever used that keeps me interested in the workout.  It is easy to do movements and good upbeat music.  You don't feel like you are working out because it is fun.  You do see results with this workout and I highly reccomend it to anyone.  You can do it at any fitness level.  The longer you do it the better you get and the higher level you can perform it at.

Turbo Jam is an awesome work out DVD series. You also get nutrition information along with detailed instruction on all the moves. I really like the DVDs because once you do them a few times you remember the moves and you can do them anywhere. If I am stuck at work, I close my office door and start working out by memory. Also, I really like the hip hop music in the DVDs. It really keeps you moving and the DVDs are very easy to follow. My favorite is the standing abs work out. I do those even after weight training. That is how I got my 6 pack. I recommend Turbo Jam to everyone I meet. Don't forget the kind of weight you can lose. Also, you not only lose weight but you tone up, so you look awesome in the swimsuit in just a few short months. The DVDs are not only easy to follow, you can be at any work out level to do them. She goes through and gives you alternate work outs so if your level is not too high, you can still get your body moving. Love the DVDs! Thanks Turbo Jam.

Turbo Jam is the greatest work-out DVD I've ever tried! Before trying it, I was in a rut without a clear work-out plan.  However, after beginning the program, I have used it weekly for over two years without loosing interest!  The variety of the workouts mixed with the results that those workouts produce turned me into a believer! Turbo Jam will work, as long as you're willing to give it a try!

Easy to Follow, tons of fun

I am not someone that can stick to a routine, but with the Turbo Jam videos it is different.  They are easy to follow, with great music and routines that can be modified to accommodate different physical requirements.

I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a simple to follow video that you will not be bored with after a couple of weeks.  And since you do not have to have weights to do, you can easily pack it in your computer bag if you travel for work and keep up with your routines.  

The only downside was in the beginning I was signed up for extras like supplements, web support that I did not want and customer service was very difficult to work with in removing it from my account.  If you just want the videos make sure you are very clear when you order.

But overall I found the videos helpful and lost 20lbs in six months of following the routines and modifying my diet.
