I am a fan of Leslie Sansone. She isn't rail thin and she doesn't come off like some model who is doing workout videos for a quick buck. Leslie is an everyday woman doing everyday things we all can do to get fit.

Background
I am trying to play full time mom and full time worker. That leaves me with little time to myself, and even less time to workout. So, I hired a personal trainer last year to get me on a routine that was achievable. She had basic instructions for me-- cardio 4 times per week (for 20-40 minutes), strength training 3x per week and some flexibility training sprinkled in.

Winter is on it's way and soon I was going to have another excuse for not putting on my sneakers and walking. But, thanks to a friend that has been using this DVD herself, I have no more excuses.

This particular DVD has 3 different levels of intensity. The first is for us couch-potatoes, called Get Up & Get Started, that takes approx 20 min, warm-up & cool-down included. The 2nd is High Calorie Burn, a faster pace that takes about 30 min. Last, but not least, is the Super Fat Burner, that lasts about 45 min.

My DVD came with cute little rubber balls that were supposed to be inflated with water....

Leslie Sansone's walking DVDs are easy and fun to follow.  She can even challenge you too.  Just by walking at home, I have managed to keep in enough shape to pass the walking portion of my army physical fitness test for the army reserves.  I have to do 2.5 miles in under 39 minutes to pass.  If you do her walks, especially the 3 and above and keep to the pace, it is an easy test to pass. 

I also used her videos to help me recover from my ankle surgery.  Now, I can walk for quite a while on my ankle.  It is easy, but once you get up there in experience, you can move to the longer and more...

I first learned about Leslie Sansone after the birth of my daughter.  I was too tired and too busy being a first-time mom to get outside for long walks and jogs.  I would pop in a Leslie Walking DVD for the 20-30 minutes that she would nap during the day.  Eventually I got back into running, but now I am expecting my second child and can no longer get out for long runs.  Leslie Sansone is low impact enough that I feel ok doing  it while pregnant, but challenging enough that I work up a sweat and feel the impact on my muscle tone.  These videos are great on their own, or for a supplement to...

My teen age duaghter and I have been walking with Leslie Sansone for years . We love it . Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds : Walk and Kick is great. My duaghter and I love the music and her cheeriness. It is a quick workout anytime. There is no need to go to the gym and no need for expensive equipment . How much of that do we all have in our basements that we never use.Walk away the pounds has always remained in our living room and we have continued to use it .It has been a wonderful thing to have my daughter as a walking partner. I highly recommend it.

I bought the Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds: Walk and Kick video a few years ago and have used it often. It is really worth the money I paid for it. It is very easy to follow and very easy to do. The different movements that she gives you to do are very low impact and are not hard on my body at all. It targets certain areas of the body so you can work on all of them and I felt like I wasn't really working out because they were easy to do, but I know it works because I saw the difference in my body and weight.

We got started on her videos after reading her book. My wife and I have each lost about 60lbs from doing her videos and eating healthier. We are always looking for new and different Leslie videos so we don't get bored and lose interest. While this video is not as intense as some of her others and no it is not "real" kick-boxing, it is different and if you work out daily it is a nice change of pace. Since it is different you will also use different muscle groups.

Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds: Walk and Kick is the best out there!  Anyone can do ANY of her exercise programs without difficulty.  With her program, you exercise your whole body.  If it's too much, you can do a simplier version and can always go back to the regular walking.  EXCELLENT! Leslie is the best instructor, especially great for people beginning  an exercise program.  You won't be sorry.

I have been trying to lose weight since 2 years. I have tried everything from dieting to exercise, but after some times I get bored and start binge eating. THen I tried Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pound series, and they are great.

This video is great!  My co workers and I do this at work and in about 45 minutes!  You can really feel the burn in your legs during certain exercises in the tape/DVD.  If you don't have weights, she will show you how to complete all weight exercises without them.  I would definitely recommend this.

This video and all the walk away the pounds videos are great for all levels of fitness! I would recomend going to your local library and seeing if you can rent them though. I don't like having a lot of videos in the house and think utilizing them for free and being able to switch them out helps your desire.

I love this do it at home dvd. It works like a charm. Generally, for me the results are almost immediately noticeable. The arm work and the back kicks are my abolute favorites. It helps in toning the muscles and is a good workout. I love the fact that it can be done from home. Thank you Leslie.

I love working out with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds: Walk and Kick. She makes the workout fun and lighthearted. She is encouraging and lets you set your own limitations. I would recommend this at home workout to anyone!
