the vivitar vivicam x025 digital camera is a decent camera for the price. you kinda get what you pay for. we are on a tight budget, but don't want to miss out on the kids pictures for too long, so we bought this one, since it was one of the only ones in our budget. we are pretty happy with it. it's easy to use, and easy to connect to our computer (a mac with iphoto). batteries last for a decent amount of time as long as the camera is being used indoors or in a warmer climate. i find that outside in the cold or even in a chilly hockey rink, the batteries die pretty quick, so ya alway gotta keep a second set around, and depending on how long you are in there, those might go too. sometimes the pictures turn out a little fuzzy too, especially when the object is moving. it is much better for still shots and not from terribly long distances. all in all, it meets our expectations and was worth the money we paid for it. i would recommend it to anyone on a budget.
