I purchased this product almost a year ago, in which it still works really well. I chose this product for the sleekness and small size of the flat irons. It has three settings of low, medium and high unlike some brands. One best feature of this product is that it automatically shuts off after a hour just in case I forget to shut it off. It gets my hair really straight and I only need to use the flat irons 2 to 3 times a week of course it depends on the texture of your hair and the weather :) I would recommend this product.

I purchased this flat iron after the Chi I had bit the dust after a year of usage.  This was 3 years ago.  The Vidal Sasson is still working and the one I use to this day.  It works just as fast and efficient as it did when I bought it.  It heats up very quickly and has a variety of heat settings so you can use it on damp to dry hair without the worry of burning your hair.  It takes about 60 seconds to heat up after turning it on. And also turns up the heat quickly when adjusting your heat setting.  No need to plug it in before your ready to use it to allow it to heat up.  I have very thick hair so I have to section it to about 1 inch wide sections.  I usually only have to run each section of hair through twice and it's straight.  I have very wavy, thick hair.  This keeps my hair straight throughout the day even when it's humid.  I have used a number of different straightners in the past and this one is in my top 3 favorites for the price.

      I have really thin and fine hair and have had trouble finding a good flat iron. The Vidal Sassoon Answers has an adjustable heat dial that makes it easy to set the right temperature for my hair. I can get the flat iron hot enough to do its job, but not too hot to where my ends become fried. After using this flat iron my hiar looks sleek and straight, just the way that I want it to.       The physical design of this flat iron also has a sleek and easy - to - use design. Ihas a one inch wide barrel base and fits easily in your hands, unlike some big and bulky flat irons that I have tried in the past. I thing that I am not to particulary fond of is that the flat iron that i have is a white one. Using different products on my hiar before the use of the flat iron can sometimes make my flat iron feel sticky or appear grungy looking if not cleaned often. I beleive that with a black, or a darker color, this problem may be avoided.

I really like this straightener. It definitely attracted my because of the color and the "course hair" pat of the straightener. The only bad part about this that the straightener is rather more regtangular on the edges which doesn't let your curl your hair. I really the the quality of it though.
