These are a staple in our household for those nights I am just too busy (or too tired!) to cook anything else for dinner. They are tasty and quick. They cook up in about 10 min. The pkg. says 6-8 but I find they are crispier and better if I cook them 8-10 and turn them halfway through. They are a big hit with my kids and the adults like them, too. They are nice and crispy and have a good flavor, chicken with a little bit of what seems to be a salsa verde inside. We serve them with a side of salsa, sour cream and some veggies for dipping. As a bonus, they are dairy free, which is great for my daughter with a dairy allergy.

  QUICK!  You need something else on your buffet table.  How 'bout this *fast-fixin' finger food*?  **Trader Joe's MINI CHICKEN TACOS** heat up in a 425' oven in about 6-8 minutes.  They're not too spicy, they're cute on a plate with hot sauce and cilantro greens, and they are flavorfully yummy. Microwave?  With four wrapped in a (dry) paper towel and placed on a microwave-save plate, about one minute on *High* will do the trick.  Nuked **TACOS** will be a little less crisp but good enough in a pinch.  You can also deep fry these babies, though I frankly don't know why anyone would want or need to. According to the box, four tacos equals one serving for a total of *190 Calories; Total Fat 8g; Cholesterol 30mg; Sodium 250mg; Total Carbos 20g *with* Dietary Fiber at 2g *and* Sugars at 1g.  Protein *will give you a boost at *10g.  *I think this box, designed to serve "about six", will actually stretch further on a loaded buffet.** ***There is NO GLUTEN in *TJ's Tiny Tacos.** *FILLING: chicken leg and breast meat, green chilies, crushed tomatillos (tomatillo, citric acid), contains 2% or less of: gelatin, modified corn starch, onions, green chili puree (green chili and citric acid), jalapenos (jalapeno peppers, salt, acetic acid, calcium chloride), chicken base (salt, maltodextrin, detrose, modified corn starch, sugar, yeast extract, dehydrated onion, corn oil, spice extractives including turmeric, natural smoke flavoring, citric acid), vinegar, salt, flavoring, water, cilantro flavor (dextrose, modified corn starch, extractives of cilantro), dehydrated bell pepper *and* cilantro flakes, guar gum.* *TORTILLA: corn flour (corn masa flour, trace of lime), water, modified potato starch.** Fried *in* vegetable oil (canola *and/or *soybean)* Seems like a good idea to keep a box or two of these in your freezer for the holidays.  Just the things for folks who drop in; a quick meal for you with a couple of enchiladas or a salad; or a contribution to *someone else's *buffet table.
