excellent price. the size is just right for carrying in purse, pocket, hands. has all the updated ports and entryways to keep up with modern technology Performance I haven't gotten around to all of the options. it seems okay so far

With the holidays approaching, I jumped on the chance to buy my grandson the **Sylvania Digital Video & Digital Camera SY-4000** at a steal of the deal.  Read what I am writing, I think this is perfect for learning to film videos and about digital camera's.  My grandson is twelve years old.  This is a 2 in 1 Camera that takes still photos as well as video.  It comes with a large 2" display; 4x digital zoom; point-and-shoot simplicity (just aim and press record) and a card expansion slot.  It does not come with a memory card, that you have to purchase yourself.  Other product features include:  Playback;  over 40 minutes of video clips; built in speaker and low battery warning.  It works with these operating systems Microsoft windows ME; 2000; XP and Vista.  I highly recommend that anyone who has never owned a video camera and/or digital camera buy something like this first.  I did not.  I spent a fortune on a very nice, expensive camcorder/camera and still don't know all of it's functions.  For beginner's this model is great and does not cost much.  If your're looking for a professional camera, steer clear of this one.
