Works Okay, But I Switched to Tidy Cat

4

For an all-natural product that is trying to be more eco-friendly, this litter does work and I used it for a long time. I even used it with a Littermaid automatic litter box machine. It is not stellar with the automatic litter box though. It worked best with one cat in a litter box that I changed regularly throughout the day. In the automatic machine the litter started to smell quickly and was pretty soggy if it sat in the catch tray too long. This litter does alright with poop, meaning it will cover it and stick to it, but it doesn't do anything to mask the odor. With urine it gets really soaked and doesn't really "clump" like formulated clay litters do. It also sometimes develops a sort of sweet (yet unpleasing) smell when it gets wet. It is about average in price when you compare it to Tidy Cat or other litters (except for the cheapo basic clay litter). It did not do that great in the automatic litter box, so I eventually switched to Tidy Cat and have used that ever since.

Affordable and Use Daily in Every Litter Box

Affordable and Use Daily in Every Litter Box We've used this for several years and have been quite satisfied with. May not clump 100% (a bit less than "World's Best Cat Litter") but pretty easy to handle. No dust. No artificial smell. Our cats never had any difficulty adjusting to this. It is much more affordable for us than some other natural cat litter. And clean (no newspaper ink risk); pure wheat. 5 thumbs up. We order usually from wherever on sale and try to stock up. Otherwise, we order online from the stores if have shipping sale or so.

Swheat Scoop Isn't so Sweet!

1

I purchased Swheat Scoop clumping cat litter for multiple-cat households because I wanted to use a more natural product that didn't contain silica dust, which can be harmful to a cat's respiratory system. The product advertised itself as low dust, low tracking, all natural odor control, and more. I followed the directions exactly, including slowly acclimating my three cats to the product. Only one of my cats will use the Swheat Scoop, while the others prefer clay litter and I can tell you why. First, the odor coming from the box is incredibly strong and smells of urine and feces! No cat likes a stinky box. In fact, it's so bad that I can smell the boxes coming in the front door - a problem I did not have with even the least expensive clay litter. Second, the litter does not clump very well, so it is hard for them to find a clean spot in the box, even though I scoop as directed. Also, it sticks to the sides of the box and falls apart when I try to pry it off. Third, the product is dusty. Granted, it isn't silica dust, but it's still dust! Finally, it tracks everywhere - much more than clay litter. This product might work for one very neat cat, but my boys pitch it everywhere and don't like it at all. The package offers a money back guaranty and I will be getting my money back!

works great!

I actually really like this product. We are a generally 'green' family so I was excited to try out the different 'green' litters available when we got our cat, this was the best out of the ones we tried though we did like 'Yesterday's News' too. This litter is a little more expensive than other brands you can buy but it is still cheaper than other brands per ounce which I liked. You don't need a lot either, the larger bag can last a good couple months if you only have one cat and scoop instead of completely replacing the litter ever few days. It has no fragrance added, which I really liked, some of the others had a very overpowering fragrance added that frankly, burned my eyes a little. It clumps well and is thus easy to scoop as needed. It does trap in odors fairly well but there comes a point where you just have to change it, a little baking soda added to the box will help reduce smells. Our cat didn't seem to mind this litter either which is good, I know some cats can be a little picky about textures etc. All in all a good all natural cat litter that makes good use out of otherwise useless wheat leftovers.

Sweat scoop cat litter is the best

5

Sweat scoop cat litter in my opnion is the best cat litter I have ever bought for my beatiful Baby girl. For one let me start by saying, it is all natural with no dust particles. I was told by many vets that is your able to flush it, then it wont stick to your cats stomach. Yes, this is true. Before I adopted my kitty, I wemt through a painful ordeal and had just lost a cat. I couldnt believe why! My previous cat was usig Tidy cat scoopable. I like to inform people that the dust from the clumping litter sticks to the fur, paws and when they bathe themselves they ingest the powder whinh acts like it does when they urinate, it clumps but in there stomach. That is what happened to my older cat, it was stuck hard inside her intestinal track, she didint want to eat and was so thin and frail that she was diagnosed with mal nutrition absorbtion. Since I have my new cat she is the age my other cat was and she is healthy and happy, never a furball, or heavy powder. Sweat scoop is so natural made out of wheat and corn products and it last a long time, also absorbs odor and is flushable. They even state it on the bag. So I am giving this a 2 thumbs up. We will never switch litter ever again

My cats appreciate Multi Cat Natural Wheat Litter

5

I believe Multi Cat Scoop Natural Wheat Litter is a great way to make a household of cats pleased. I gave this litter a try as it is environmentally friendly. I live on a hobby farm in an agricultural part of our state, and I am concerned for the land. As this particulat litter is made from a renewable resource it keeps farmers who grow wheat happy. The ingredients are helpful to your cats and kittens too as there is no sodium bentonite or added fragrance. According to the box, veterinarians recommend it for declawed cats. It is not that expensive, either, and comes in a box, therefore, the plastic is reduced. It is biodegradable and is supposed to be able to be flushed without hurting septic systems. Although I have never done this, I don't really recommend flushing it. As I said before, my cats love this litter. You can get coupons in magazines too. Therefore, with that being said, I absolutely recommend this litter to anyone who has cats. I plan on continuing to buy it.

Very little dust, no odor, great for multiple cat homes

5

Swheat Scoop litter is natural, from a renewable source and flushable. I have 4 cats and LOVE Swheat Scoop.  There is no cat box smell in my apartment, and there is no dust from the litter. I love it, my cats love it, my nose loves that there is no smell. I have converted 10 households so far.  It might be a little more expensive, but there are no chemicals, it breaks down naturally, and can be flushed away.
