This is my preferred type of kitty litter to use, and has been for some years. This worked fantastic with one cat in the house and only allows a little extra smell to remain with an additional cat which can be rectified by using an additional litter deodorizer. Many litters do not clump properly causing crumbling when cleaning the litter. This litter clumps very well making it possible to get the cleanest litter box possible. With all the hassles in daily life it is good to know cleaning the litter box will not be one of those hassles. Moisture Absorption This litter is extremely absorbent and clumps well with no crumbling when cleaning. There is no residual urine left in the box once the box is cleaned making for a much better smelling box and happy cats. Ease of Cleaning This litter cleans very easily as it clumps extremely well. Odor Control This litter controls odor very well for a single cat and is only slightly less effective with multiple cats in the house. A little extra deodorizer fixes the problem.

I decided to try Special Kitty Clumping Litter after being dissatisfied with Purina's clumping litter (it broke the clumps up into unscoopable pieces). The reason I decided to try this litter over other brands after trying Purina was that it was cheaper than other brands of litter. For the most part, I am glad I went with Special Kitty. First off, my cat doesn't mind the litter. I have learned, firsthand, that sometimes, changing litter type or brand will bother a cat. This change in litter did not bother our cat. Second, the clumps are much easier to scoop than with Purina's litter. This was the most important factor for me, as I don't really like having to change out the litter in the entire box more often than I need to. Also, the smell of the litter isn't bad, and it is not overwhelming. The only thing I have noticed is that a smell of cat urine fills the air when I scoop the litter, but I am not sure if this would happen with other litters. For the most part, if we keep the box clean, the smell coming from it is manageable. This litter works well for us, and I plan to keep buying it. I'd recommend it to anyone that isn't afraid to buy a generic brand. I definitely prefer it over the name brand, Purina.

There isn't much to complain or be excited about Special Kitty sented cat litter. It works good I just wish it would be a liitle more easly scoopable. It is a great cat litter, very reasonably priced and doesn't have a strong smell, however it  keeps the cat smell under control. It is thought very dusty so you have to make sure when you pour in the litter box do it slow so it doesn't go up in your face. Plus it is easly tracked in your carpet. I find litter everywhere. I do like the scent and it lasts me about 4 days before I have to change it. I would reccommend the scoopable litter instead. But, if you want to stick to cheap since it is just litter it is a good buy. I just wish it was flushable. This kitty litter It is not flushable, but it really doesn't take much of my time to throw the clumps into a plastic bag and toss it in the trash I guess. But, for the price conscientious consumers, I think this litter is a perfect match for them.

My nose says thank you.  I waisted my money thinking name brand was better.  I bought a bag when the store was out of my usual brand.  Now, I'll never switch back.  Thank you Special Kitty.  This product is truly the best for your money.  If your tired of the smell of duty try this.  Special Kitty clumps well too.

I'm on Social Security Disability and so don't have a lot of money to spend on cat litter and so have been trying different "cheap" cat litters over the years and have decided that this is the best one out of them all. It is a scoopable cat litter, which I like, easy to clean out of the litter box, stays clumped together for the most part and is reasonably priced for a scoopable litter. As for the 4 stars I gave it, that is because of the cheaper scoopable litters, it is the best one I found.

I used to buy the expensive stuff and was running low on cash one day so I went with the Special Kitty because it was cheaper. This is the only litter I buy now. It is cheaper and works just as well as the expensive stuff!

I took in two stray cat over the summer, one of which was pregnant and ended up having five kittens, so I'm now living with seven cats in my home. As you can imagine with that many cats I go through kitty litter like crazy, so having an affordable product like this is great! It comes in a good quality packaging, I've yet to have a bag rip on me despite often throwing them down a flight a stairs to the basement. Also the size of packages is just right, I get enough litter to fill about 3 boxes in each bag, but they are still a manageable weight. The litter itself can vary a bit I've found, most of the time the littler will be small corn kernel sized pieces, but other packages sometimes come finer with more of a pebbly sand texture and those can tend to be a little dusty. Still, even if you do get a slightly finer bag the dust isn't too bad, and considering at the price I pay I can certainly live with it!

I have 3 indoor cats in a 1200 sq ft home. I buy Special Kitty in a 28 lb box. Unless you bend down and sniff the litter box itself like you are trying to snort it....you cannot "smell" a cat in my home. Trust me, if there is reincarnation, you have to come back as one of my animals. They are truly loved, spoiled, pampered, and cared for. Although I don't have the most money, I do want my kitty's clean, fed, healthy, and happy. I have tried ALL of the more expensive brands, and come back to this one every time. It will clump when it is supposed to and is very easy to clean up. It absorbs all odors without any problems and is easy to clean up. It is, simply put, some of the best litter out there. I would not use anything else. As far as "scoopability", I have learned 99 times out of 100, the scoop is the problem, not the litter.

My husband does not really like me to venture off and change the litter- normally he smells the litter and gets fussy that I have pinched on the litter, but not this time, he has not complained yet...and this is going on a week, that we have used this litter...So with that Special Kitty is a keeper...its cheap, afforable and pass the husband test.  It is a little dusty when you pour but I can deal with that
