This camera is a great buy. I use it for filming skateboarding, family events, and I can even use it for school activities! It is very easy to use and i believe that it is the most wonderful camera for the price. If you are going on a trip or some sort of event, it is great to bring an extra battery or your camera charger because the battery can run out quite fast. I enjoy the picture taking capability because it is useful to have an all in one camera. If you are serious about filming sports though, i advise a higher quality camera like a Sony VX 1000 or better because with the Sony HDR-CX110, to film skateboarding you would need a handle and/or a fisheye lens. This camera is one of the best buys i have ever made. I am a student in a film school and my peers think I use a professional camera because the quality is so great! A user can change all of the settings to fit his/her needs perfectly! One must take care of this because it is not a toy! Thank you.

I have owned the CX-110 in black for about a month or two now.  It is a great camcorder.  The small size and solid build quality are probably what I like most about it, next to the video quality.  Through my 1080p 120hz LED tv the video quality is amazing.  It seriously rivals broadcast TV.  You would have to spend hundreds more to see a substantial upgrade in video quality from what this camcorder puts out.  The image stabilization works quite well, and the 25x zoom is nice to have. I was a bit surprised at the impressive audio quality as well.  The Camera records in Dolby Digital Plus.  I'm not sure what that really means, but the audio is very crisp, accurate, and contains minimal wind noise. The camcorder is very easy to use, and I like the touchscreen interface for menu access and scrolling through movies during playback. About the only thing I don't like about the camcorder is that it has no viewfinder, just the LCD screen.  This sometimes makes following subjects while taping challenging, but I'm getting used to it.  The lack of viewfinder isn't and wasn't a deal-breaker.  I'm happy to sacrifice it for an extremely compact camcorder at a great price.

This Hdr Cx-110 is a very great camera for Creative film-making and video taping family. If you are starting to make videos for YouTube then i recommended getting this camera a long with a tri-pod and go out with your friends and make some videos! I use to use the Flip Mino and this camera is way better then it. When you zoom in on objects it automaticly focuses on the image. I use this camera for recording on my green screen and let me tell you this camera is like no other. Im not writing this review to make money or anything. Im writing this review to tell you how great this camera is! Now every weekend instead of sitting on the computer I am skateboarding with my friends recording with a fish eye lens. The costumer support for them is really impressive I had problems uploading my video to my Mac and they helped me with everything. Just make sure not to mess around with the settings too much.
