We received this as a gift and my daughter absolutely loved it! We had an exersaucer as well, but she much prefered to be in her Sassy Doorway Jumper. Once my daughter could sit up on her own, we started using this jumper. I had this set up in our kitchen so she could sit in it while I prepared dinner. It always kept her attention well. At first she would just swing back a forth a little bit, but as her legs got stronger she began really jumping in it. She would just giggle and bounce. The Doorway Jumper is very sturdy and I felt very comfortable that she was safe when we were using it. The jumper attaches to any doorway. It is easy to attach and remove. The seat is machine washable, which is great! You can easily clean the tray and toy with a damp cloth or Clorox wipe. I would highly recommend this to any mother with an infant. The Sassy Doorway Jumper provides entertainment for young infants.

When I was a new mon years ago , one of my son's favorite toys was a Johnny jumpup.  So,  when I had an occasion recently to give a gift to my niece for a baby shower,    Isaw these Sassy Seat foorway jumpers and thought that this would be a nice , rather unusual gift. How many baby outfits size 3-6 months will you use anyway? : ) My niece and her daughter absolutely love this toy . As other poster have mentioned , it is a nice , safe item to give baby som fun and strengthen leg muscles and develop motor control , while mom can make dinner ot grab a few minutes of " me time" knowing baby is safe and occupied. It is very easy to use with no tools required and is secure when properly installed in a doorway . Sure, you are limited to where it can be placed,  but we all have a doorway in a kitchen so that is where most moms probably use it .    The SASSY brand makes a large variety of inexpensively priced baby items and I believe they are a decent brand . Your baby will love this !

This toy is without-a-doubt the BEST thing I ever received for my baby daughter. She was about five and a half months old when she was first able to support herself in it. She sat there very still at first not knowing what to do, but we bounced her a couple of times and she completely took the lead by herself. She tends to get bored very quickly when playing on the floor, in her swing, or in her bouncer chair. But in her doorway jumper, she will stay entertained for up to half an hour, which is the equivialent to a life time for such a busy mother like myself! It is extremely easy to install in any doorway. It is very secure and easily adjustable to whatever height is needed depending on baby's growth and height from the floor to the ceiling. It also included detatchable, soft, brightly colored toys like butterflies and other little insects. These can be velcro-ed to the jumper so they don't fall off, but easily pulled so baby can play.
