Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo Review Summary

For a “nice alternative to over the door jumper seats,” parents turn to the Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo, which is considered to be “well constructed” and “substantially sized.” The Fisher Price Jumperoo is stable enough to provide a safe jumping environment without the worry bouncing off a wall. The large size though does make the Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo difficult to store. Bright and colorful with lots of lights and sounds the Fisher Price Jumperoo captures the attention and admiration of babies. One satified reviewer writes "He just loved to jump and would laugh and get excited." The Fisher Price Jumperoo is also good for developing leg muscles, but do learn from reviewers that the Jumperoo can be a cause to some developmental delays as well. Some reviewers found the music to be “loud and annoying“, and the springs will make noise while in action. But in the words of one parent, “the Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo is a hit.” Want to find similar activity centers for baby? Viewpoints has lots more reviews for you to check out, just click here.

This is just awesome.  Wish it would have been around for my children.  Very stable and sturdy.  Great for exercising the legs.  My nephew wanted in this all the time and would cry when you took him out.  He just loved to jump and would laugh and get excited.  Perfect time to get things done while... review »

We purchased this Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo as an activity for our daughter, she looked bored to me, laying around, rolling everywhere all the time. I thought she could use a little "excitement" in her life.

The Fisher Price jumper was "almost" a hit. My daughter wasn't much of a kangaroo. Jumping...

I bought one for my youngest daughter because she LOVED to jump, she would do the jumping motions even while lying down!

OK so this is a great toy that keeps kids busy and less interested in the fact that mom's no longer in the room because she's folding laundry.

However it does have it's draw backs. I had a children's development something or other come over once a week to "play" with my kid to see if she was developing as well as other kids (she was a pre-me) and as time progressed and it came time for her to start walking she showed some difficulty in this area. She would curl her feet under...

The Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo is a hit!

This one piece toy eliminates the need for an exersaucer, Johnny Jumper and walker.

Place your baby in this washable seat and watch her go!  Music, lights and toys on the Jumperoo keeps baby entertained for hours.  Babies love to jump up and down to the music and lights.

I absolutely love this product. I couldn't believe it when I saw it in the store.

The best feature of this item is volume control. I love that!

A little pricey, runs about $50-60 but well worth every penny.

Don't bother with the rest, this Deluxe Jumperoo by Fisher Price is the best!

I was given the jumper as a gift, when my oldest son was about 3 months old. I started putting him in it when he wasabout 4 months old, at first he was iffy. But then one day it was like a light switch, he LOVED it. However, we went to my parents house quite a bit, and if he didn't have his jumper he got cranky real quick, but it was such a hassel to haul around. And at the time we had a decent sized two bedroom apartment...we thought...It wasn't nearly as decent as we thought when we got that jumper. It takes up ALOT of space and its easy to understand the assembley but it can be difficult to... review »

We got the jumperoo as a gift after our daughter was born. Initially, I thought it was great, but then I realized how large it was, and that even though it says that "it fold up," folding did not make much of a difference storage-wise. My daughter was not thirlled with it;; she would sit in it, but treated it more like an exersaucer (which we had as well). I was ready to write it off as a waste of space, but then my son was born, and he LOVED it! We put him in it around five months, he is now twelve months and still will play in it. It wears him out and keeps him contained. I love that it is safe,... review »

We bought this for grandma's house and my daughter loved it from about 7 months on till she started walking at 1 year. She would jump herself silly for long periods of time with a huge smile on her face. I love that you can adjust the height for when the child gets taller. The seat pad also comes off and can be thrown in the wash to keep it clean. The springs are covered with fabric, which did get food on them, and unfortunetly, those cannot be washed without disassembling the unit- which I'm afraid to do because I don't want to compromise the safety when putting it back together myself. My two youngest children just about lived in the Jumparoo.  It keeps them entertained and while they are in the pre-walk stage alows them a bit of freedom. Also very easy to clean. My youngest son used it to jump up and down side to side and figured out how to really get it going and then lift up his feet and swing back and forth while giggling the entire time.  A great and safe place to put a little one while trying to get things done! It was a very sad day when my son got too big and we had to retire the Jumparoo!

We love this product!  It keeps my daughter amused for hours at a time.  It helps me get my laundry and dishes done without the crying.  She loves that it lets her bounce around because she's always on the move.  It was like $80, which is kinda a downfall, but it is totally worth every penny.  I can leave her play in this jumper while I run to the bathroom and know that she is safe, which is a huge comfort to me.

The Fisher Price Jumperoo is a very colorul jumper that comes with lots of bells and whistles.  Not only does it provide great exercise for my five month old, it has other toys and activities that keep him busy when he's not jumping.  He loves to play with the beads that can be pushed back and forth and he's just fascinated by the little kangaroo toy on the front.  It's also nice that there is a a button that plays music - soon my son will learn the cause and effect of pushing the button plays music.

I bought the toy used for $25 which was a total steal - it's still in great condition and it...

I do love this product!! I would have never paid $70 for it though...but if you can find it on sale or used...totally a great purchase!!! I stuck my daughter in it around 4 months old...she could just kind of hold herself up and was just starting to use her hands...she didn't bounce on purpose..maybe by accident....but it was good exposure for her.  I just put her in it everyday and eventually she started playing with the toys, then she just started to jump a little one day...now...she jumps all the time...even when is in my lap or playing in her exersaucer. It's wonderful because she has this... review »

The Fisher Price Jumperoo Deluxe is the greatest baby product for keeping the baby content while also providing fun, activity and strengthening. My son was very active and would never sit still in most stationary products. He was very active and enjoyed jumping up and down and pressing the buttons to activate the lights and sounds. The Jumperoo can be used starting at 4 months and used even after 1 year depending on your child's weight. There are 4 levels to make the Jumperoo higher as your child grows. Your child should be able to hold their head strong enough on their own before allaoing them...

The Fisher Price Deluxe Jumperoo was by far the best buy my husband and I made for our son! He started using it when he was about 4 months old, and used it daily until he was 10 months old. My son fought sleep in a TERRIBLE way, but with the Jumperoo, he would sit in it and play and obviously jump; watching Baby Einstein for 20 minutes and fall asleep! It was amazing! It strengthened his leg muscles and kept him entertained and gave me time as a busy mom to get some cleaning and cooking done. The only down side to the jumperoo was it was a bit of a hastle to take down and put back up, and its a...

I didn't get a jumperoo until my third child, so I can tell you from experience that this item is a must have! My baby loved it!

Here are a few good attributes:

- comfortable seat (my baby was happy to sit in it)

- so much fun (everytime I put my baby in this, his eyes would pop and he would giggle with delight)

- great exercise (my baby was slow to crawl, so this was his only exercise for a few months)

- grows with baby (has various adjustable heights)

- toy bar entertains as well, with lights and sounds

- toy bar can easily be removed, with a snack bar underneath

- all children are fascinated...

I first had a Jumperoo when my five year old son was a baby... he would sit in it for hours at a time, just jumping and giggling. Now my daughter is 8 months old and we have purchased the newer version. Just as fun as I remembered! I love that you can put this anywhere. You do not need a door jam. There is no bottom to it though, so you may want to place on carpet so it doesn't slide around. The spring straps are covered well and have had no issues with fingers or hands getting stuck. The seat cover does come off, and so do the toys that are attached to the tray for easy cleaning. The adjustable...
