My splendid family is always looking out for me and at holidays or on my birthday someone is always giving me something to help me feel better.  I suffer from herniations in the Lower spine and at the c-6 level, I also have tarlov cyst disease.  I was grateful to receive the  *Sarah Peyton Wellness Ultra Soft 4 piece Hot & Cold Personal Spa Set *for my more difficult times.  The set includes a micro bead rest pillow; rejuvenating eye mask; neck wrap and all purpose body pad.  These can be used either as Hot Gel therapy or Cold Gel Therapy.  It's true the pads are ultra soft and once you open the zipper there is a nice gel sack form inside.  For me, heat always elevates a lot of the pain that I experience.  For heat, you simply take out the gel form and place in hot (not boiling) water for up to 3 minutes.  Do Not Use the microwave!  This is where my problems began.  Once the gel sack is wet it is very difficult to place back in it's soft cover.  It was frustrating for me but I conquered this.  By the time I got it all properly fitted all the heat had dissipated.  The neck wrap was cold within just a few moments...actually before I even got it on.  The concept is marvelous had it truly worked.  I give them 2 stars for the benefit of trying.  Would I recommend?  Definitely not. Effectiveness Please keep in mind that I have spinal cord issues. For me, a product such as this is a waste of money.
