When I first arrived in Hawaii I was greeted by my son and his then, fiance with beautiful plumeria leis. Plumeria grows in abundance on the island leaving the gentle breeze there to float its fragrance through windows and doorways on its way out to the ocean. The scent is intoxicating. Just having to have some, I returned to the states with a bottle of plumeria perfume oil. Later, visiting my Father's new home in Florida I noticed that he had plumeria growing.
