The past few months I had upgraded my dogs food (three of them: Labrador, Yorkshire Terrier, and Chorkie) to something of a higher standard per many friends stating I should look for a main ingredient as meat not grains or corn, etc. Times fell hard this month so I had to go back to something all three could enjoy and they are picky about texture and size. Incredibites is nice and small for even our smallest 11lb dog. I use to make a combination of homemade food to add to their mix but with time restraints and feeding them twice a day on schedule we started just making them a beef gravy to go over it. Our Yorkshire was ignoring her normal food choice I think because it was one consistent flavor but the moment we put the Beneful back in her bowl she was no fight anymore to get to eat. They are colorful, textured, and small. Our dogs vary in size at 11, 14, and 65lbs. It is a victory when all three can enjoy the same meal. It might not be what the Veterinarian states is best but I have had no problems feeding my dogs this in the past nor currently and they are healthy and active. You can't beat the price with coupons on top of it either. The biggest selling point is that one of my dogs use to get upset stomach aches from some of the mainstream dog foods but Beneful has never caused her to return her food after coughing.

This dog food is terrible. The first few ingredients in this dog food is corn, and that already says a lot about the quality. Corn is super cheap and is known as a filler to those who have done their research on dog food. If you are feeding your dog this brand of dog food I recommend you switch immediately. You should not be able to buy any type of worthy dog food at a human grocery store. When I got my puppy, he was on this dog food and it was terrible! He had tear stains and was itchy all the time. At first, I thought he was just teething and itching was normal, but a week after switching to a food with actual meat as a first ingredient I immediately saw results. His tear stains started to fade, and his itching stopped. Sure, the food looks cute and colorful, but who cares when you're basically feeding your dog the equivalent of chips for humans. For those who want the best for your furbaby, I recommend finding a brand that lists meat, not corn as a first ingredient. You may thing that a meat based food is more expensive, but that is totally false. If you feed corn based foods like these, you are feeding your dog much more than you would meat based foods. Meat based foods provide more nutrients and are more filling, and therefore, require less for your dog to thrive. Please, do your research and switch your food. Your dog will thank you with health and happiness.

‎ My twenty-five pound rat-terrier/Chihuahua mix LOVES this brand of food. It's the only kind he will eat! It has a good variety of ingredients and comes from a brand I trust. I also have two very spoiled Chihuahuas who even eat this kind of food! This is a great thing because they are VERY picky eaters!

I'm very attached to my dog, Daisy, who is a very spoiled and pampered pooch. She has been part of my family for 11 years and has been well taken care of. Part of that care is feeding her a high-quality dog food. When I first began feeding Daisy, I could only purchase her brand of dog food at a veternarian's office. Eventually, it was sold at most stores and now I often purchase it at my local grocery store. I've been very happy with it and never had plans to purchase any other brand. Only recently, after receiving a free sample of Purina Beneful IncrediBites, have I decided to re-think that strategy. I've always been of the mindset that "if it's not broken, why fix it?" but after watching Daisy eagerly consume the IncrediBites, I decided that she's ready for something new and different. I probably would crave something new if I ate the same thing day in and day out for 11 years too. I am confident that my decision to buy Purina Beneful IncrediBites for my dog is a good one and will definitely buy it again. Beneful Incredibles were so like the Beneful dog food that my dog, Shadow, did not consider them a treat at all. She gave me a strange look like, "You've got to be kidding! This is not a treat.". Despite the fact that they are supposed to be moist and chewy, they were just as hard as the Beneful dog food only smaller in size. I say do not waste your money on this treat for your pet. I will say that the easy to close stay fresh little pouch they come in is easy for travel if you go places with your dog. I believe Purina needs to go back to research and development on this product and start over leaning more toward the idea of something that feels meatier to a dog. Shadow gives this product a two paws down!

I have two tiny year-and-a-half old chihuahuas that love treats.  I first purchased Beneful IncrediBites almost a year ago and have been using it as a reward for my dogs.  It is so chewy and soft, they must think it is supposed to be a treat instead of regular dogfood.  Using this instead of other treats makes me feel as though I am promoting my dogs health, because the IncrediBites provides well-balanced nutrition and tastes great.  I still prefer for my dogs to eat some harder, crunchier dog food as well to keep their teeth clean, so I mix in equal amounts of the stuff they do not prefer with Beneful IncrediBites to encourage them to eat both.  This dog food would be perfect for an older dog with more sensitive teeth because the pieces are so easy for them to chew.  I have even broken up the large red morsels and put a small piece of my dog's heartworm medication in it to get him to eat it.  Anything else I tried, he would eat around the pill and leave it on the floor, but with Benefut, he takes all his medicine with ease. Overall, I have been extremely pleased with the way my dogs enjoy this food and the way it appears to nourish them.

 For many years I ahve had pets on and off( for what ever reason). I have/had many diffrent breeds of dogs, cats, birds,fish etc....I must say that I do really like Beneful over all. I do find that it seems to really work well for smaller breeds. The price over all is ok, most brands are supposed to be as good or better but coast a lot more as a rule, at least in my experance most brands are higher and not as high of protine leveles as some off brands. I can't say that I would feed it to big breeds such as a Great Dane, Mastive etc...they don't really sale in in big enough bags to make it worth buying in the long run. But for the smaller breeds and over all price and nutrition I love it! I hope that the company will start packaging bigger bags some day but untill then I will and do recomend this brand with out any problems at all. Good luck and take care.
