I wanted this product to work for some hyper-pigmented areas on my cheeks and neck area. I had heard so much about this product fading spots that I absolutely had to try it. The most it did for me is to soften my skin and completely hydrate it. I used this product for about a year and the spots on my cheeks and neck areas never changed. They did not get darker, but they did not get any lighter either. I gave it a 5 because of the moisturizing it had for my skin. Absorption It does really well at absorbing into the skin. It does not sit on top of the skin. It was very nurturing to my skin, and left it very soft and smooth. Doesn't Clog Pores While it is somewhat oily, it does not clog the pores, as I have not experienced any acne breakouts when I was using this product. Effectiveness It did not work at fading completely or reducing the dark spots I was trying to get rid of. I used this product for a significant amount of time and there were no changes to my skin.

I used Porcelana Fade Dark Spots Nighttime Treatment in concert with the Daytime Treatment. This product is thick and greasy. It did clog my pores after I used too much, but I figured out the right amount to prevent this from happening. I made the mistake of applying this cream when my skin was slightly wet and I broke out quite badly. I applied this cream to my affected areas every night and after 3 months I saw decent results. I continued to use this cream, but things didn't get any better. I used this product for an entire year and my best results came in the first 3 months. I gave this product a rest and came back to it 3 months later in hopes that it would work like it did initially. Sadly this cream no longer had any affect on my dark spots and acne scars. I definitely would recommend Porcelana Fade Dark Spots Nighttime Treatment for a short period of time, but it doesn't respond at all to long term use.

I have a melasma above my upper lip. Over the years I have tried so many products to lighten this mark. Overall, I was pleased with the results of this product. Having used this product on a nightly basis, I have noticed a significant lightening of the area. This product has not completely eradicated the mark (hence the 4 rating), but it has made a difference in the density of the color. What I like about this product is the results occurred without the irritation or redness of the surrounding area. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I am overly cautious when selecting skincare products. Many of the department store brands left an irritation and redness surrounding the melasma. This product was gentle enough to use daily, which is important when trying to treat these stubborn spots. As the packaging states, it is imperative to use sunscreen on the treated areas. I would also recommend a small amount of hydrocortisone cream as well to help further prevent any redness or irritation. For the price and the convenience of finding this at your local drugstore, I would highly recommend this product over the expensive department store products. As a last precaution, I would encourage you to try this on a small area of skin first to ensure you will not experience any irritation.

I purchase Porcelana Fade Cream and I have used it for a month now as directions stated with no results. I didn't even notice the slighest difference. I have a few darker spots on forehead from sun exposure. I used this product and also applied sunscreen on during the day with a visor to keep the sun off! I knew if it kept exposing it no cream would help it. But, after all that still nothing has changed. The dark spots look the same. I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend.

I have a lot of freckles so I decided to try Porcelana to see if they will fade or disappear (even better!).  Supposely, you're suppose to use it for a given number of weeks first before you will notice any change in the tone of your skin.  I began using it about a month ago, every night before bed.  So far, not much change in lightening the blemishes/freckles but it does seems to even out the tone a bit.  I may need to increase the number of times I put it on...maybe after I wash my face and then again before I go to sleep.  Hope to see a change soon but I guess so far it's still too soon to tell how much results I will get.  The scent is pleasant enough, not too strong either.  Will update when I have had a longer time of testing the product.
