Most HelpfulDoo Wop, The Details
I recently purched the Parents Bee Bop Band musical instrument set for about $20 dollars. I thought this fun set was a cute twist on the old fashioned instruments you find everyday. The Bee Bop Band consists is a large drum that's filled with several insects (or should I say instruments)....
Most HelpfulWhile this is obviously made to annoy parents of toddlers, it does keep my little one entertained. It comes with a tambourine, a shaker with bells on it, a shaker that is more like a rattle, drum sticks and the case is the drum. The lid of the drum comes off and it is storage for the other instruments....
review »My son received the Parents Bee Bop Band for Christmas and I was not too thrilled with the idea at first because the last thing I need is a 10 month old beating the drums and shaking a tambourine for hours on end. It turns out the Bee Bop Band is a great set of toys that entertains your little one and yourself by watching all the fun they have.
Parents magazine has recently come out with a line of toys for children and the Bee Bop Band is one of them. Parents magazine provides many tools and helpful ideas for parents, so it only makes sense they came out with a line of toys. I think it's a...
review »This set of musical instruments is a wonderful learning toy for my 19-month old daughter. From the moment I brought this toy home for her, she has been in love with it, as she is very musically inclined and has been attending music classes for several months. The product is extremely durable and withstands a great deal of banging (and boy has she given this thing a run for its money). She has a great time using the drumsticks (these are her favorite), and has learned the difference between loud and quiet while playing with this toy, which has given her a sense of confidence and pride. The...
review »My baby girl received the Parents Bee Bop Band for her first birthday. The toy is rated for 18 months plus but does not seem to advanced for her. When we opened up the drum and took out the drumsticks she knew exactly what to do with them!
This is a very cute set. It has a set of jingle bells in the shape of an ant wearing long pants (the pants form the letter "A,") a bumble bee maraca with castanet wings in the shape of "B" and a caterpillar tambourine in the shape of "C." The drumsticks are two smiling centipedes.
Your child must be supervised while playing with this toy because the drumsticks...
review »Last Christmas we purchased the Parents Bee Bop Band for our daughters who were 27 months and 11 months old. Each of the girls loved this toy. Our older daughter navigated towards banging the sticks together while our younger daughter shook the bee rattle with glee. In the year that we have had this toy our daughter's love for it has not diminished. From time to time the drum stick is used as a weapon when the other girl is reaching in for the steal of one of the cute, colorful toys. This toy work extremely well by itself but when paired with some music it is even better. The girls...
review »The Baby Bee Bop Band is a toy that has several features I like. It teaches (cause and effect, and can be used to teach rhythm later), it doesn't require batteries, and it requires purposeful action by the child. Plus, it can be used by kids of all ages - even in preschool and kindergarten (and beyond) kids love playing with rhythm toys. The bright colors attracted my daughter when she was very young, and when I start playing the drum her eyes light up and she grabs the drumsticks.
The set comes with a jingle bell, a tambourine, a xylophone, a shaker, and drumsticks. My biggest complaint is the...
review »My nephew has the Parents Bee Bop Band and it is great. The first thing my son goes and gets when we go visit them is this set. It is so darn cute with the little bugs and so fun for them to play with. I know a lot of parents might get annoyed with toys that sing and make noise and are loud, but me I love them, because my son loves them. I know that I have only had 2 years of it and it might change after I have another child, but right now noisey toys are great. My sons favorite part is the little drum (I think he is going to have a band some day), but him and my nephew usually fight over it....
review »My daughter got this item for her first birthday. We really thought she would love it, since she was into music and loves to make noise. Sadly, she's not crazy about the instruments. She has another xylophone that she loves, but the cord on this one is too short and she gets frustrated. She likes to watch the beads in the bumble bee go back and forth. She also loves the drum sticks - but she doesn't use them on the drum. She likes to bang them on the dryer or the floor. I will warn you - they are the perfect size for her to shove in her mouth and tells us they are "wallapops" - be...
review »The Parents Bee Bop Band is so cute for little ones! It comes with a variety of toys so there wasn't any fighting over toys because there was a lot to play with. All the pieces were very durable and eye catching. The only problem is that they can get kind of loud, so if your partial to headaches, you might want to go with another toy. Also, my children had a habit of taking the drum sticks to the televisions around the house so you might want to watch out for that. However, the toy was colorful and fun so it kept them entertained for quite a while and they could take some of the pieces into the...
